This is a good deal for the price. I like visual novels; I wish Steam would offer games like this to be playable via tablet. Visual novels are such a good fit on a tablet.
What you say has no logical merit. What you are doing is creating an argument in your mind and presenting it like fact, when it is nothing more than an opinion. Gimmick is the new follow the crowd criticism that uninformed gamers use to smear Nintendo. People who use that term do not think for themselves.

That's your opinion, and I get it that others share it, but I do not. There was nothing gut wrenching about it. The Internet is a strange place. All it takes is for one person to give an opinion and the rest just follow the crowd and in many instances to a dead end i.e. Wind Waker. In other words, And i will repeat myself here, the Internet was buzzing with hatred when WW was revealed, very similar to how Starfox is being received.

I for one am waiting until the game releases before I jump on the hate bandwagon. Not saying the game is going to be great, but even Nintendo fans ripped Wind Waker when it was announced. Now it is one of the most most beloved Zelda games. Crossing my fingers.

You are partially correct. Everyone knew Sega was on their way out, this is common knowledge.
But by saying Nintendo is making a profit is not entirely accurate. They started this generation with a market cap of something in the realm of 24 billion dollars, and they have lost close to if not half of that. Nintendo may go third party someday, but that is not the same thing as going "Sega." Sega is not half the software developer Nintendo is. If Nintendo went third party, they would join the list of great and successful third party companies. The comparison is ridiculous. And anyone who makes it is more delusional than they claim Nintendo is.
Gamecube did not have better games in my opinion than the Wii, at least not better 1st party games.
The mario galaxy series destroys sunshine. Skyward Sword is better the Twilight Princess and yes better than Wind Waker. Mario kart Wii, better than mario kart cube. Smash Bros you could argue the Gamecube version was better. Donkey Kong Country returns? Name a better side scrolling platformer on the Cube? Wii Sports Resort is still one of the best party games ever conceived. ...

Nothing a little marketing couldn't fix. I don't think this will ever happen, but as a promotional product it could work.
I was skeptical when Telltale announced a Borderlands game and a Game of Thrones game. But Telltale has come through with those two franchises, so again I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt with this game. It doesn't look spectacular, but Telltale has earned my loyalty so far, so I am going to wait and see before I pass judgement.
