@ Lodossrage
Everyone understands that.
But again, as Jim Ryan is talking about the reasons why day and date won't work, we're literally looking at one of their titles listed in the ''coming soon" section of their competitor's service.
It's pretty funny. Hard to take Jim too seriously there.
It's the combination of two preexisting, standalone services though, isn't it? I know I'm in the minority on this, but I have subbed only to Now for almost 2 years now (it's been at a great pricepoint too).
I was able to avoid paying for another online fee and cancel my sub to PS+. But Sony is now combining Plus and Now. If I really wanted to just stick with Now, I'll have to buy their upgraded package. It's not a huge deal, but it kind of sucks.
...
It would only make sense to me if they did offer discounts on the demo games. If I'm paying for a demo (I cringe just typing that), I can't see them asking us to pay full price.
The review scene for this game is going to be a dumpster fire.
I can't say I fully kept track of the promotional deals, but basically it'll be back to <$20 come black friday time regardless.
Haha, that's very fair and oddly specific.
It looks like there was only going to be 1 winner of the sweepstakes though. So whoever wins likely will only be displaying these.
Pretty much.
But hey, it's good to learn that I've apparently been playing this "remaster" for years now, and it didn't cost anything.
Chances are they are doing a "tiny bit more" than this...
I'm sure they appreciate you accusing them of "virtual" (lol) signaling though. That will surely help them in the defense of their homes.
I've never heard addicts get called hypes. Hey, the more you know...
But I'd give FS props for their output, even if their games borrow a lot from one another.
Bloodborne: 2015
DSIII: 2016
Sekiro: 2019
Elden Ring: 2022.
In 7 years, they've released 4 games that I'd say are in the top 100 of all time. And while they all share one major DNA, they are all unique titles. And it's looking like...
So do you propose that mobile games get physical releases?
I'm so confused. Lol.
Go buy Gemini Rue on Steam or Gog. Looks like it's $5-10. Support the devs!
Haha, same.
Could be. This also goes back to some of the reasons I stopped pre-ordering and buying stuff day one.
I'd buy something when either I wasn't ready to get into it (playing something else, busy with life, etc.) or the game needed a couple of months to get patches sorted.
FOMO is tough, though.
@Stanjara
So the remaining 10,000 Activision employees aren't talented?
I figured. I thought I read that some countries still require software pubs to provide physical options due to internet limitations. I rarely see the codes anymore at Best Buy or anywhere else in the U.S. though.
I've been lurking around r/retrobattlestations and watching a lot of LGR on YouTube lately. Thinking of building something to run some old 95/XP big box games I've collected.
Yeah, leaving prices out prior to reviews is shady and intentional. Having MTX options isn't offensive to me, and it sounds like it's fair enough to grind through.
I never really mind publishers targeting whales with some MTXs. But hiding them from reviews and the "click to top up" option deserve the backlash from media & fans.
??
February has been one of the most loaded months ever.
It's also a cross gen game.
You're really only pointing out the idiocy in the anti-gamepass crusaders.
I really think Mario Kart 9 is the title to watch for in predicting the next system launch.
MK9, Pokemon, Odyssey 2, and Animal Crossing will push Switch 2 more than Zelda or Metroid (even though Zelda and Metroid are my two favorites). If some of those are ready for 2023-2024, then I see them launching it.
Also, there's no way in hell they offer free upgrades lol!
