PS3 has never won Christmas, it was always outperformed by the Wii and 360.
This year, Kinect is out with massive success. If anything's going to change is the gap between the contenders.

The trend of the "hottest" articles over here is just deppressing. It looks as if Sony boyz are desperated to find any kind of hope for their PS3's not to eat dust for the rest of the generation.

Less than 1 month until the 360 overtakes the PS3 in Europe. By the end of the year, the gap might well be 8 million again, and this time growing.
The 360 is on track to outsell the SNES LTD sales. Kinect will help it surpass the 60 million by next year.
In all honesty, PCs have been largely beating consoles since GTX 280. I have one and can play i.e. F1 2010 @ 1080p Maxes out without a hitch. Mafia II runs @ nearly 60fps on 1366x768, SFIV @ 1080p 60fps and the list goes on. I have reserved the console games that didn't run smooth on consoles to be played on a PC and as a result I can enjoy the games without distracting technical limitations. i.e. Splinter Cell ConViction, Mafia II and MW2 it's a delight to play them @ 1080p - 60Fps, ...
By now, the Xbox 360 should've taken the lead back in Europe. Last week it was just some thousands of units away.
The Xbox 360 is definitely the console king of multiplatform titles.
And contrary to what we might have thought before, this is NOT going to change anymore.
THe difference is almost a generation worth. Can't believe some guys say it's not that much.,
The PS3 version looks noticeably less sharper than the Xbox 360 and PC, being the PC the best one (obviously)
On the multiplatform front, the PS3 has been struggling to keep up with the Xbox 360 through this whole generation.
Reach broke every other game record on a single platform. How about that?

IT will be an All Xbox contenders this GOTY between ME2, RDR and Halo Reach. They're all one step beyond everything else.
Move isn't getting as much love as Sony would like to. This is going to be Halo's month, not Move's.
Looks very good. This is my favorite genre so I hope it ends up as good as it looks.
What's with Sony's GT5 secrecy? It's holidays time already and they haven't even worked on Marketing for the launch of the game. Whatever they have on hands, it's NOT going to turn out good.
