You're not seriously comparing Heavenly Sword to ICO, Riddick, Colossus, Gears and BioShock are you? Each and every one one of them is lauded as one of the best games of their respective console generations. While still being a very good game, Heavenly Sword is a class below that (judging by reviews). Being short is just one of its problems.
Well, if he played it on the PC, he might be right. The PC version currently has an aggregate score of 72, the Xbox 360 version 49. It's a bad port, not necessarily a bad game.
Although it certainly isn't an Oblivion killer. :)
Nah, it's just that the Xbox 360 is not under the same pressure to come up with a system seller as the PS3 currently is.
It's interesting how Xbox 360 fansites don't hesitate to call a crappy game a crappy game, while PS3 fansites praise turds like Lair to high heavens.
This is ridiculous.
Gee, sorry for providing an information...
It's definitely good news, but it has a downside. To achieve smoother frame rate, level geometry in the PS3 version had to be reduced. Here are some comparison screenshots from DiRT demos for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
Here's the 360 version:

And here's the PS3 version:
Not all of them will turn out to be great games, of course, but some will. Anyway, here's a quick rundown.
Cry On is an action RPG by Mistwalker (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey).
Infinite Undiscovery is an action RPG by tri-Ace (Star Ocean, Valkyrie Prodile, Radiata Stories).
The Crossing is an innovative FPS by Arkane Studios (Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Arx Fatalis), made with assistance from Valve (Half-Life).
Dungeon Hero is a...
Well, I get them from many different places, including this website, but pretty much every piece of news worth a damn eventually finds its way to the NeoGAF forum (www.neogaf.com/forum). Often you need to dig through threads, though, but nobody said staying up to date was easy. :)
The PS3 definitely has a strong 2008 line-up with many returning franchises, but which one is better is up for everyone to decide for themselves. They're quite close right now, but unlike Sony, who have been announcing new games every couple of months or so, Microsoft hasn't revealed anything new (as far as 2008 first party games go) since last September. Expect a lot of new announcements as the year draws to its close or after the holidays.
As far as Japanese games go, there a...
Actually, Epic is already working on Gears of War 2. I listened to an interview with Mark Rein and Cliffy B and they were talking about why extra content from the PC version of Gears won't appear on the 360 (or why UT3 is not coming out for the 360 this year, don't remember exactly). Cliffy B only managed to say "But we're working on something else for Xbox 360 owners" before Rein flat out told him to shut up. So what might that be? Hmm...
Here's some more exclusives (or PC/Xbox 360 exclusives) people often overlook:
Cry On
Infinite Undiscovery
The Crossing
Dungeon Hero
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures
The Secret World
A.P.B.
GTR X360
Huxley
Postal 3
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom
Universe at War: Eart Assault
Theseis
Warhammer: Battle March
Dead Island
Left 4 Dead
Edge of Twilight
Totems ...
It's not $600 anymore and it has some games to pay. No real system sellers yet, though, so when one does appear, there will be a surge in sales, but who knows how big or how long it will last. And don't forget that other consoles will have system sellers as well so while PS3's sales will improve, so will the sales of its rivals.
"2)They dont plan to support the 360 for a LONG time"
I'd say 7 years, as they've suggested in the past, is long enough.
Good one.
PSU has lost all credibility for me when I caught them spinning old pro-PS3 rumors (in one case several months old) as news. I stumbled upon that twice (unfortunately, those articles are unreachable after the redesign, but I remember one of them being about Lost Planet coming to the PS3) and then I stopped taking PSU seriously.
The whole Tengu restaurant shtick has become a running joke at NeoGAF.
Right, creating a tie-in Viva Pinata cartoon, organizing a Viva Pinata party and building a 14.6 meter Horstacio = Microsoft ignoring Viva Pinata.
So thanks to its unique architecture the PS3 is the hardest to develop for out of all current platforms, PS3 games require the most time and resources to get done, and yet Kaz suggests that developers should go the extra mile and add more to PS3 versions, thus investing even more time and resources for no discernible benefit (except for Sony, of course). Nice thinking, Kaz, welcome to dreamland.
I doubt it, their shooter team is working on an Xbox 360 game. It's probably an action game of some sort, though. It's Treasure, after all.
