Sony haters!!1
Hey, wait a minute...
Game Informer gave it 9.75.
There was an article about Sony dropping the license many months ago.
It's a grain filter, kind of like what Battlestar Galactica and Silent Hill games use. You will probably be able to turn it off if it bothers you much.
So is every GT up to GT5 not a simulation as well?
Dozens and dozens of PC games.
Mostly agreed. I would just like to add some often overlooked 2007 Xbox 360 releases to your list:
Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
Virtua Fighter 5 with online play
F.E.A.R. Files
America's Army: True Soldiers
Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2
Chessmaster: Grandmaster Edition
No, and I don't plan on getting it for at least two more years, but that doesn't mean I think it's "crap".
The recent surge of amazing games on the 360 doesn't automatically make the PS3 crap, not even in comparison, although it does make the 360 even more awesome than it already was. :)
9.75/10
It's true, but Mass Effect remains an Xbox 360 exclusive as it's being published by Microsoft. ME2 and ME3 might become multiplatform games, but that issue remains to be resolved.
EDIT: @TheExecutive
It does. ME2 and ME3 might go multiplatform, but they don't necessarily have to. It depends on the arrangement Microsoft makes with BioWare and EA.
It is? The only remaining 2007 PS3 exclusive that has the potential to be great is Uncharted.
It's an XBLA game, sheesh...
Still crap, though, but at least it's free crap.
"brought nothing new"
Stopped reading there.
Actually, their next big name release is PGR 4. And those screens are amazingly gorgeous, but old.
Agreed, all this bickering over some scores is ridiculous. Whether someone gave it 8.5 or 10 is of lesser importance, the only thing that really matters is that Halo 3 is obviously a great game that for the most part delivers.
Or Valkyrie of the Battlefield. Be thankful you're even getting that, no SEGA Xbox 360 exclusives have been announced recently despite of its much larger installed base and much better game sales.
I think they both look nice and very similar, as far as visuals are concerned. One thing that confuses me is the "PROJECT BEGINS 2008" line at the end of the teaser. If the development starts in 2008, then knowing Ubisoft, they'll already have 2 or 3 Xbox 360 Naruto games out by the time this PS3 project materializes.
If anything, Eurogamer is biased towards and not against Sony, some of their journalists also write for Threespeech.
My my, what an awful article. Three pages of fanboy dreams about something that could've been summed up in several sentences: Yes, it's not known whether Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 will be Xbox 360 exclusives now that BioWare is owned by EA. Could PS3 versions of those games happen? Unless there are pre-existing contracts and/or unless some money exchanges hands between EA and Microsoft, of course they could, but we still have no way of knowing whether they will. Case closed.
