Two separate teams are working on Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Ninja Gaiden 2 simultaneously. The team working on NG2 is lead by Itagaki and has no experience with the PS3 hardware whatsoever, while the other one is lead by his protege and concentrates on the PS3 (that's been explained in one of the interviews). What I'm trying to say is that NG2 will almost certainly come to the PS3 (or hey, the PS4), but it will be a later port and not a simultaneous release.

May I ask why you believe that's the case when the game is obviously coming to all three platforms, sooner or later? I'm sure it will be a fine game, maybe even a huge hit, but I can't say I've ever been terribly interested in it.

And as others have pointed out, it might not even be a timed exclusive. All we know is that the PS3 version is the only one confirmed for 2007, it could still be simultaneously released across all three platforms. The whole thing is very reminiscent o...

I have to agree with cdawson, it always seemed like a very nice FPS, but hardly anything to get overly excited over. I guess the fact it's being developed by Free Radical lends it some weight in certain circles, though.

Which may very well be true, but might not matter much in the end, as exemplified by recent success stories of Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS, i.e. market dominating platforms that were technologically less advanced then their direct competitors.

Why not? Even if that was true, ports rarely look identical to the original release.

War of war?

The first Forza got scores as low as 7.0, Gran Turismo 4 as low as 6.0 and so on. Some people will obviously like it better than others.

Besides, 8.9 IS a good score.

Troll, just ignore him.

What a ridiculous article. Then again, it does come from a place called Sony Protection Group.

This is hardly gaming related.

Yeah, I was referring to the recent MGS 4 on the Xbox 360 "magazine confirmation".

And no problem. :)

6330d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I suspected it was something like that. Guess not only Xbox 360 fans are desperate.

@Weed: The French Wikipedia claims the last issue of the magazine has been released in July of 2006.

Right, I guess that's the reason many multiplatform releases do support Sixaxis in their PS3 versions...

I call bullshit on all cars and tracks from GT4. Either they will change their minds or we won't be seeing the game for a very, very long time.

That's totally fine, but millions and millions of people will disagree.

I like this new map much more than the one we've already seen.

Like the video says, think about potential it has for the single player campaign. What if they manage to make a seamless transition from space battles to air battles to ground combat? I can definitely imagine some spectacular uses for that technology.

Then can you show me that quote? Because I'd like to see it.
