"by the way, in recent interview, was stated, that main FF series was always exclusive to one console. =) and that square probably won`t change their tradition, unless x360 start doing better in japan."
Perhaps, but who would've thought we'd ever be playing Ridge Racer, Devil May Cry, Armored Core, Katamari Damacy and even Final Fantasy (XI) games on Microsoft-made consoles? Not to mention Ace Combat which used to be a long-lasting PS exclusive series, and yet its lat...
Not confirmed, of course, but the possibility just became a lot more probable.
Looks simplistic, interesting and, uh, ugly. But hey, good to see another adventure game being made.
It's good to see not all fans have turned into rabid fanboys. We're all gamers, after all, still a cultural minority, yet we clash over meaningless things.
So the Army doesn't want PS3 and Wii owners? Do they think they're sissies or is their loyalty to Japanese machinery unacceptable? :)
Seriously though, that's good news. Despite it being used as a recruiting tool, America's Army is a fine semi-realistic FPS.
Doesn't look much better than this to me:

And that's very old footage (June 22, 2005).
I'm not to keen on the way it looks, but some gameplay features they plan on implementing sound interesting:

Actually, it's Huxley, but I forgot about Hellgate: London. :)
Think again:

Or textures are procedurally generated and they would take up 20 GB in their "uncompressed" state.
Most of them are old, if not all.
Neat! Let's hope there's still some life left in the old mutt.
And no, it hasn't been confirmed for the PS3 before, that was a PSP game.
EDIT: After following the link, I realized it's just a RUMOR so the title should be changed.
It's not really comparable to Team Fortress 2. TF2 is beautifully cel shaded (this isn't, at least not to that extent) with superb lighting and hardly a jaggie or an angular model in sight (not the case with The Agency). They're both cartoony and have some similar character classes, but that's where visual similarities pretty much end.
Yeah, the NOLF parallel is spot-on and that's a good thing. All in all, it looks like it might be an interesting game, if not exactly a beautiful one.
OMG, it's real-time!!1
Sorry, couldn't resist after all the hype. :)
It doesn't look awful, but it's not exactly stellar either. And the "it's good for an MMOG" argument doesn't hold up when you consider Huxley looks almost as good as Gears of War.
If Sony does drop the price for $200 by the end of the month, they'll be losing insane amounts of money per each system sold and there are still not enough attractive games to make up for it. What's even worse is that they know both Microsoft and Nintendo can easily afford dropping their prices for at least $100 to become competitive again. It's too risky and they'd probably gain very little if MS and Nintendo are to react (and such a reaction would most certainly happen, at least on Microsof...
"1-2) we are speaking about NEXTGEN games, PSU, FFIX doesn`t look nextgen. Same for MK3."
Sorry, but that's a very silly thing to say, what they look like to you makes no difference for this conversation.
"And BD is not available in eng, for 95% of people. If people can`t play thay game, then it`s just a teoretical presence."
I never said it was, read my post again.

"After 1,5 year x360 has: 1 jrpg, ps3 after 0,5 year has: 1 jrpg. (Enhanted Arms)"
Not true, you forgot about Phantasy Star Universe and Final Fantasy XI (technically they're MMOJRPGs, although PSU also has a decent single player component). In Japan Xbox 360 owners can also play Blue Dragon, Far East of Eden Ziria: Tales from Distant Jipang, Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage, Diario: Rebirth Moon Legend, Absolute Blazing Infinity, Super Robot Wars XO and Operation: Dar...
Yeah, Fart, the 360 is primarily a first-person shooter console. Out of almost 200 Xbox 360 games released to date, you know how many belong to that genre? Thirteen, and that's counting tactical first-person shooters.
Well, I'm not saying the game(s) will be coming to the 360, I just can't understand why people think it's such an improbable turn of events. Stranger things have happened.
And yes, I know what a "true" port is, that's why I said those games have been leading on the PS3 (although the PS3 version of AC4 WAS announced a bit before the Xbox 360 version ( http://xbox360.ign.com/arti... and th...
