If anything should be labeled (First-Person) Shooter 2.0, it's Half-Life. Perhaps BioShock will be deserving of the Shooter 3.0 classification, but for now it all reminds me of System Shock/Deus Ex a bit too much. Which is great because those are among the best games I've ever played, I'm just not so sure about BioShock's originality. We'll see, maybe the A.I. characters will set the game apart.
"...I like sony because I haven’t had a SINGLE issue with their products. All of Sony’s products do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they do everything quite well."
Well, there goes that guy's credibility...
@NoUseMerc:
Actually, the PS3 version of Haze is the only one *confirmed* for 2007, the other two aren't, but they still might be released this year. The rest (i.e. timed exclusivity) is speculation by various blogs, forums and so on. Also, MGS4 might not make it this year, but where are Warhawk, Ratchet, Folklore...?
A good vid nevertheless.
Cheer up, deep, we're just joking. A one week delay is no big deal.
And watch this: DelayStation 3 :)
The Wii is already getting a FF game, the next Crystal Chronicles title.
The next FF MMORPG.
Tesla has been working on it, but whether he really achieved it is still a mystery.
The interesting thing is that one of the scientists from the MIT team is also from Croatia, just like Tesla was.
No, they've just seen this:

Kudos for you, I was talking about it just the other day. :)
Interactive animated series, actually. Kim speaks of it as an interactive series prior to that blunder.
Now you know one.
@tonsoffun
Your concern is valid, but as soon as 20 GB hard drives drop down to $50-60, they'll become a presumed necessity (just like memory cards have been before).
Next-gen.biz is even more optimistic, they say a 33% drop might occur across all SKUs bringing the prices to:
Core: $200
Premium: $267
Elite: $320
I'm more inclined to go with your numbers, though.
Actually, PS3 WAS doing really well in the weeks after the launch (speaking strictly of PAL territories now), which was expected because of the pent-up demand. The sales have been dropping ever since.
But I agree with you that they will pick up in the second part of the year. Then again, sales of all three consoles will.
By the way, the 360 wasn't flying off the shelves after the launch because the shelves were mostly empty. ;)
Of course, Microsoft can't afford a $100 price drop because they need to worry about their profits, but Sony can add additional $150-200 per system to their already monumental losses without giving it a second thought. They're also laying off people like crazy (pardon me, they're "restructuring") because their pockets are so deep.
Gears of War 2 - The Locust versus the Care Bears
It's going to happen and it's going to happen soon:

Besides, Nintendo is right on their tails, they have to react.
I don't know where you got that, but Vegas was not so-so on the 360.
Not to mention exploding batteries, PS2 consoles with disc reading issues, audio CDs that secretly install rootkits on people's machines and so on. Or was that what they were supposed to be doing?
