SUMMARY: The content MGS: HD Collection offers is some of the finest of the last decade. But it’s also frustrating that this collection could have—and should have—offered so much more.
If you're replaying MGS1 in any of its available forms, you'll want to know how to unlock all the best items in the game!
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection launched in 2011, and is still the best way to play Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater ahead of the remake.
Can’t wait to one day break that game out of the collection vault
Currently playing Snake Eater HD on CRT 16:9, via Scart RGB. Game looks great but not as clean as MGS2, but thats due to the setting. Can't wait for the remake + the next HD collection on PS5.
Months after they were removed from sale, a number of Metal Gear Solid games have yet to return to the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
Konami's too busy with their Pachinko machines to worry over silly little things like this.
I'm getting sick of these reviews comParing handheld games to console games...
Mgs3 was 39.99, did anyone complain about that?
I can't find this damn game anywhere! It's beginning to anger me.
The comparison needs to stop between what Vita is offering and what has been offered on previous releases.
If they are going to whinge about that, they should also be whinging about why PS3 gets a lot of PSN games like Journey and Trine etc and the Vita doesnt. They are small enough to run on the Vita too but there is no mention of that.
Fact is that on it's own, as a Vita release, this "Vita Collection" is great... on the Vita. Dont compare it to anything else unless another portable device has a similar portable HD collection!
