XDefiant How to Fix Party-Related Issues

Issues with the party were present in XDefiant even during the Beta testing, and they persisted even after the game’s release. Players have been encountering issues with friend invites and creating a party in-game, along with party voice chat problems. This guide will provide players with solutions to these problems and hopefully resolve these issues for them.

How to Fix “Can’t Accept Friend Requests” in XDefant

XDefiant has been having problems with Party Management Issues even before the game was fully released. The biggest problem is with the party invites and friend requests. Although players might try the usual things like restarting the platform, re-installing the game, and verifying game files, there might be an easier way to solve this. The best thing players should do to fix this is to use Game Invite on Ubisoft Connect instead of using the game to invite friends to create a party.

Another thing that might be standing in the way of you playing with your friends might be the use of crossplay. Before creating a party, all players should check that they have the same crossplay settings enabled.

How to Fix Party Voice Chat Not Working in XDefiant

There are a few reasons why Party Voice Chat might not be working properly in XDefiant, but usually, it comes down to simple things. Changing some Settings and making sure your voice input is working properly will solve this. Restarting your platform might also help. Before doing anything else, make sure that your microphone is not muted and that the volume is set on your headpiece. Below you will see how to fix the voice chat issues using Settings.

  • Open Settings
  • Enter the Audio and Vice Chat tab
  • Make sure that the Master Volume is set to 100
  • Scroll down to Voice Chat Settings
  • Switch Voice Chat to On
  • Set the Voice Chat Channel to Private
  • Make sure that the Master Chat Volume is set to 100
  • Set a Microphone Input Threshold to a lower value, and set the Microphone Volume Boost to a greater value if you are talking, but the game is barely registering it

Also, players can check if they have muted their party members by opening the Socal tab in the top-right corner. Selecting a member of your party will give you the option to mute or unmute them.
