XDefiant How to Fix Error Code Delta-01

Error code Delta-01 is just another issue in a long line of issues that have been plaguing XDefiant. Although encountering an error is never a pleasant thing, there is always a way or two players can try to resolve it. Error code Delta-01 is a connectivity issue and this is a common thing in online gaming. Sadly this kind of issue cannot be avoided, but luckily there are a few easy ways to fix this and return to gaming.       

Ways to Fix Error Code Delta-01 in XDefiant

Because error code Delta-01 is a server-related issue, the first thing to do is to check the server status. If servers are running normally, the problem might be on your side. However, if servers are currently down for any reason, there is nothing to do but wait for them to come back online. If the servers are running normally, here are some methods you can try to fix the error code Delta-01.

Delete proxy-v1.bin File in XDefiant

The best way to deal with the error code Delta-01 is to delete a certain proxy-v1.bin file. This file can interfere with internet connectivity and is the main reason for encountering this error in XDefiant. To find this file and delete it, follow the steps below:

  • Open the Documents folder on your PC  
  • Go to MyGames, and locate the XDefiant folder  
  • In the XDefiant folder locate a file named proxy-v1.bin
  • Delete file proxy-v1.bin file
  • Lunch XDefiant to see if the issue is solved

Restart Your Router

A bad or inconsistent internet connection can be the cause of the error code Delta-01. Restarting your router will re-establish your internet connection and can fix problems like this. Unplug your router and wait a while before plugging the device back into its power source. It will take a few minutes for the router to boot back up before you can try to play the game again.
