One of the smaller locations that may has been overlooked was Shipwreck Cove, which is exactly what it sounds like from the name. Shipwreck Cove Location in Fortnite

Unfortunately, Shipwreck Cove no longer exists on the Fortnite map at the time of this writing as of Chapter 4 Season 3. The location was had disappeared completely from Fortnite map at the conclusion of Chapter 2 Season 8 alongside other locations, as the beginning of Chapter 3 had flipped the island and created new locations.

Shipwreck Cove was first introduced in Chapter 2 Season 1 and had last eight seasons. It was located in the southeastern section of the map near Catty Corner during Chapter 2. The location consisted of a small bay and several overturned boats, thus giving the area its name.

Not much had changed with Shipwreck Cove throughout its time on the map. It did get even more flooded alongside most of the map and featured a whirlpool, but the water receded shortly after and the whirlpool had disappeared.

Players were tasked to find a family portrait at Shipwreck Cove during Chapter 2 Season 5, but not much else occurred there. It is possible Epic Games could bring the location back, though it is not distinctive enough that it needs to.
