The First Descendant has a cast of many talented and veteran voice actors who brought playable characters and NPCs to life. Nexon’s newest looter shooter is full of cutscenes, which immerse players in the world of The First Descendant. Voices of the Descendants in The First Descendant
Ajax – Doug Cockle
Ajax is one of the three starting Descendants in the game, voiced by the legendary voice actor Doug Cockle. He was the recipient of the Golden Joystick Award for Best Gaming Performance for his work as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Along with voicing one of the most recognizable characters in recent gaming history, Doug Cockle also voiced Bhaal in Baldur’s Gate 3, Robert Nightingale in Alen Wake 2, and Bile in Payday 3.
Bunny – Rebecca LaChance
One of the best-known Descendants, Bunny, is voiced by West End and Broadway actress Rebecca LaChance. Although a musical stage performer, LaChance is no stranger to voice acting. She voiced Sena in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Pearl in Payday 3.
Blair – Josh Cowdery
Blair, the fire-damage dealing chef, is voiced by Josh Cowdery, who also voiced Captain America in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. Players might recognize this actor for his roles as Senator Henry Shaw Jr. in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and as Agent Tyler in Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. and The Avengers.
Enzo – Shai Matheson
The supporting character, Enzo, is voiced by Shai Matheson, whose other voicing credits include Helldivers 2, Lies of P, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, along with voicing Sylvando in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
Esiemo – Shenoah Allen
The Explosives Master, Esiemo, is voiced by actor, comedian, and writer Shenoah Allen. He also voiced Agent Phil Coulson in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.
Freyna – Sharlit Deyzac
The Dominator of Venom, Freyna, is a continuous damage dealer in the game, voiced by Sharlit Deyzac. Her voice you might remember from Anthem where she plays General Helena Tarsis or Alexandria in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Gley – Laurence Bouvard
A veteran of voice acting, Laurence Bouvard voices Gley in The First Descendant. Although most famous for her role as the titular character in Cartoon Network’s Robotboy, Bouvard has an extensive resume in the gaming industry. Her voice can be heard in Horizon Zero Dawn, RoboCop: Rogue City, and Perfect Dark Zero where she voided Joanna Dark.
Jayber – Joshua Wichard
Best known for his roles in films like The Imitation Game and Les Misérables, Joshua Wichard voices Jayber in The First Descendant. Along with his film career, Joshua’s voice can be heard in games like Total War: Warhammer 3 and Horizon Forbidden West.
Kyle – Matt Rippy
One of the Tank characters in The First Descendant, Kyle, is voiced by American actor Matt Rippy. He is best known for his work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Crown, and as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood.
Lepic – David Menkin
Another starting character, Lepic, is voiced by veteran Norwegian voice actor David Menkin. Best known for voicing Luke Skywalker in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. along with being the voice of Barnabas Tharmr from Final Fantasy 16, and Breach in Valorant.
Sharen – Natalie Simpson
The assassin among the Descendants, Sharen, is voiced by Royal Shakespeare Company actress Natalie Simpson. However, her voice might be more known to players from Horizon Forbidden West, where she voiced the character of Shakella.
Valby – Kaja Chan
Water-based Descendant, Valby, is voiced by Hong Kong-Polish actress Kaja Chan. Although most known for her work on Netflix’s Bridgerton and 1899, Chan also lend her voice to Foamstars and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Viessa – Maria Louis
Viessa is the last of the three starting characters in the game and is voiced by Maria Louis. Along with her extensive voice work, including Cyberpunk 2077, Maria Louis is most known for TV roles on Eastenders, We Were the Lucky Ones, and People Just Do Nothing.
Yujin – Chao Woo Lim
South Korean-British actor Chan Woo Lim voices another support character in the game, Yujin. His other voice work includes Homefront: The Revolution. However, he is more known for movie and TV appearances which include Avengers: Age of Ultron and Killing Eve.
