How to Get Conductive Metallic Foil in The First Descendant
To get the Conductive Metallic Foil players have to travel into the Vespers region, and open Encrypted Vaults located there. Once in the region players can use their scanner to easily locate the Vaults, although opening them is a different story.
Every Encrypted Vault in the game requires a Code Analyzer to be used before players can attempt to open it. Now only a small timing-based minigame stands between players and the loot in the Vault. Once it is passed the Vault will open and Conductive Metallic Foil will be among the rewards. However, keep in mind that if the mini-game fails, you will need a new Code Analyzer to try again.
Best Way to Farm Conductive Metallic Foil in The First Descendant
The best location to farm Conductive Metallic Foil is Timberfall located in the Vespers region. Once in the zone simply locate and open Encrypted Vaults to get the Conductive Metallic Foil. If you plan on farming a bigger amount of this material, one piece of advice is to switch Field Options to Private before entering the zone.
This will create a solo mode of the game which will allow you to farm without other players being around. Moreover, once players have farmed everything in the zone they can return to Albon and then fast-travel back to Vespers. This will restart the zone and respawn all Encrypted Vaults so they can be opened again.
Additionally, you can get some Conductive Metallic Foil by defeating “Elite” enemies, just as a bonus.
What is Conductive Metallic Foil Used for in The First Descendant?
Currently, there are only two items that use Conductive Metallic Foil as part of their research in the game. Players can use this material to craft either Energy Activators or Python Nano Tube Blueprint. Although crafting Python weapons will come in handy, the main reason to farm Conductive Metallic Foil is Energy Activators. This item is one of the most important things for all Descendants because it increases the maximum Module capacity. Simply put, the more and better mods you can equip on your Descendant the more powerful they get.
