Can You Trade With Other Players in The First Descendant?

With the amount of loot players can acquire by playing The First Descendant, one question arises, can players trade with others? After playing the game for some hours, players will notice the number of weapons and items they have collected. Certainly, not all things which are looted are valuable to every player. However, does the game offer something to be done with it rather than just scrap it for parts?

Other games in this genre have trading systems implemented in some way to allow players to exchange their unwanted equipment. So let’s take a look and find out if The First Descendant has something similar to offer.

Is There a Way to Trade with Other Players in The First Descendant?

Sadly, no. Currently, there is no way to trade either weapons or equipment with other players in the game. This might change in the future, but for now, if players want new weapons or other stuff, they have to research them or purchase them using premium currency.

Given that The First Descendant is a relatively new game, the trading system might be added once the game is firmly on its feet. However, if your inventory is starting to fill up with unwanted equipment, consider simply scrapping it. This will give players plenty of materials to upgrade or research the weapons or mods they like.

Will trading be added to The First Descendant at a later date?

As things stand, yes, trading will be added to the game along with the feature to give items away. Although there is no concrete date on when this will happen, developers have been working on it for some time. This is good news, but we will have to wait and see how and when this will be added and in what capacity.

Trading systems can have different implementations, such as an auction house or a direct p2p between party members. Hopefully, trading will be added soon, so we won’t have to wait long to find out.
