To get your hands on new Descendants and weapons, you have to visit Anais in Albion. Each new research requires some exotic materials, like Advanced Neural Circuits, or Hardeners. Other materials are even harder to come by, like today’s subject – Specialized Biometal. So keep reading to see what the best ways to farm Specialized Biometal are and what is it used for in The First Descendant.
How Best to Farm Specialized Biometal in The First Descendant
Unfortunately, Specialized Biometal is not that easy to get. You can only get it from two missions, and the amount dropped is not that great. First, the Specialized Biometal can be found:
- As a drop from Hagios – Dune Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost Mission Monster
- As a drop from Hagios – Forward Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost Mission Monster
The worst part is that you get about three Specialized Biometals from each mission, which is far from enough. Veteran players suggest that you change your server to Private and hop between those two missions. Do one that is off cooldown, hop to the other when done, and repeat.
Furthermore, if you’re really feeling lucky, try finishing the boss-monster at the same moment the time runs out and you fail the mission. Failed missions can be repeated without waiting for the cooldown, and if you time it right, you will get the monster drops regardless of the mission failure.
What is Specialized Biometal used for in the First Descendant?

You need Specialized Biometal for some regular research, but, most importantly, you need it to progress the research of arguably the most popular Ultimate Descendant. Below is a list of parts that require some Specialized Biometal:
