Amorphous Material is among the most important materials in The First Descendant, and farming and opening them is essential to unlocking new Descendants in the game. How to Get Amorphous Material in The First Descendant
Amorphous Material Patterns are awarded to players through a mission loot for finishing specific missions and Void Intercept Battles. However, getting the Amorphous Material Pattern is just the first part, players have to open them to get the rewards inside. Moreover, missions that give Amorphous Material Pattern rewards can be found on a world map. Make sure to examine the specific missions to see what rewards they can bring. How to Open Amorphous Material in The First Descendant
To open Amorphous Materials, players must finish either Void Intercept or Void Fusion Reactor missions. Defeating a Boss at the end of these missions will drop loot, which can contain a Reconstructed Device. Interacting with this device will give players the option to open an Amorphous Material which will drop a random reward from its loot pool.
How to Access Void Intercept and Void Fusion Reactor Missions in The First Descendant
Void Intercept battles are Boss raid missions that can be accessed from the main world map. Once players open the World map, they can locate the Void Intercept battle icon in the bottom left corner. Moreover, clicking on this icon will open the Void Intercept Battle Menu, where players can select which Void battle they want to play.
Void Fusion Reaction missions will appear on the sector maps, and players have to use Void Shards to start them. However, every Void Fusion Reactor requires specific Void Shards to power it up. Hovering over each reactor on the map will give players exact information on what type and how many Void Shards are needed. Players can hunt for the Void Shards by destroying Void Fragments scattered across the world map.
