The Gadget in question belongs to the Medium class, it is the Data Reshaper. One player, Ven_n, took to Reddit and shared a short video of what can be done with Data Reshaper. In the video, the player manages to turn a grenade into a barrel and then throw it at the enemy. The OP simply noted: “Data Reshaper is underrated”.

This post received hundreds of upvotes and comments praising the rarely-used Gadget. The trick to successfully using it lies in timing, so generally speaking, it’s more popular among PC players than console players.

Another player, d_e_s_u_k_a, stated: “You gotta be quick though, same with Demat. There’s a bit of a hike to be proficient with it. But, once you are, it’s extreme for defense & a decent bit helpful offensively here and there”.

Some of The Finals players reported another great usage for this underrated Gadget is reshaping the barricades. There was a small debate on whether you can or can’t reshape the barricades, but in our experience, and as many others confirmed, yes, you can.

Captain_Jeep jokingly added: “I constantly reshape barricades. I love watching people think that they are safe behind their walls only to suddenly be hiding behind a potted plant”. There is nothing quite as amusing as seeing a player panic once they realize they’re out in the open.

One Redditor, Zoralink, explained the one catch that might have been overlooked. They stated: ” It’s just another thing to reshape, there’s no special condition or anything. Just like you can’t reshape friendly grenades and whatnot, you can’t reshape friendly barricades. That would be obnoxious”.
