We ventured to Kitakami in The Teal Mask, then made way for a more familiar region in The Indigo Disk, though there’s a lot of new ground to cover there. - Only one code for a Hisuian Zoroark can be used in either the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. Upon purchase of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, an email with your code will be sent to the email address registered to your Nintendo Account. From the in-game menu, go to the Poké Portal, then select Mystery Gift, select Get with Code/Password, and then enter your code.
- The Mystery Gift option can be found within the Poké Portal menu option in the X menu after you unlock the feature in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. (This occurs after about 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay, though individual gameplay time may vary.) An internet connection and a Nintendo Account is required to redeem the item in game. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each item can only be redeemed once.
Where is Blueberry Academy Located in The Indigo Disk DLC?
While Blueberry Academy is a new location to explore in the Indigo Disk DLC, this school is actually stationed in the Unova region. If you played Pokémon Black and White or the sequels to these entries, then you’ve had the chance to explore this vibrant, urban region in the past.
That said, many of the qualities that make Unova stand out from other past regions can be seen in the DLC for Scarlet and Violet. As such, you’ll find a wide variety of this region’s Pokémon in the four biomes of the Terarium, including monsters like Zebstrika, Minccino, and Krookodile. Apart from this, trainers at Blueberry Academy utilize double battles, a format used among others throughout Unova.
Who Are the Elite Four at Blueberry Academy in The Indigo Disk DLC?
Just as the Paldea region’s Elite Four and Top Champion head Naranja and Uva Academy, the BB League Elite Four are made up of Blueberry Academy’s top trainers. You can even take on each member in an official match to become Champion — a position currently held by your new friend, Kieran. What Can You Do at Blueberry Academy in The Indigo Disk DLC?
There’s a lot that you can do at Blueberry Academy that wasn’t available in the base games. During your time spent at your sister school in Unova, you can pass the time with any of the following activities.
- Explore the Terarium – Blueberry Academy is home to a very special location unlike any found in other regions — the Terarium. This high-tech enclosed area is actually located underwater at the school, but you’d never know. Inside, four diverse sectors can be explored, including the Savanna, Polar, Coastal, and Canyon biomes. Each is home to a variety of different Pokémon, so you’ll want to cover as much ground as you can here.
- Battle trainers – Like any other region, Unova’s Blueberry Academy is home to many trainers looking for a good battle. That said, they do things a bit differently here. When you challenge trainers to a battle at the school, you’ll be using a doubles format, meaning each match is 2v2. What’s more, your opponents have some tricky strategies up their sleeves, upping the difficulty.
- Challenge the BB League – Apart from trainers and Pokémon, you can also battle the BB League Elite Four, which is composed of the academy’s top trainers and Champion. Completing their trials and winning each match will earn you the title of the new Champion, so you’ll want to take these battles seriously, especially considering these trainers are the real deal. Be sure to get your type match-ups down before you challenge each member.
- Invite friends and Paldea’s Gym Leaders – After you complete the main story, you can invite the Gym Leaders and your friends from Paldea over to the academy for rematches — this time, with a twist. In true Unova fashion, each battle will be conducted in a doubles format. This is an exciting way to mix things up and earn experience after you’ve finished the DLC.
- Synch up with your Pokémon – When you start the Indigo Disk DLC, you’ll quickly gain access to a new feature that essentially allows you to play as your Pokémon. With the Synchro Machine, you’ll quite literally sync with your Pokémon. This lends you the ability to explore the region through new eyes. While you can’t catch any new Pokémon in this mode, you can get around in new ways and auto-battle plenty of monsters to gain experience and find items.
- Soar through the skies – Upon completing the main story of the Indigo Disk DLC, you can finally unlock the Fly ability for Koraidon or Miraidon — for good. With this feature activated, you can quickly soar through the region to reach new heights.
