Want to learn how to make cake in Palworld? Stick around. We’ll cover the ingredients you’ll need for the recipe, as well as technology and the baking process.
Oddly enough, cake is a vital part of the breeding process in Palworld. While it’s definitely worth your time to explore the landscape and capture as many Pals as you can to put together a strong team, breeding is a great way to raise powerful Pals and even register new species to your Paldeck. That said, you’ll want to start baking cakes as early as you can to entice your Pals. However, you’re going to need several technology items and a handful of ingredients to get started. Here’s how to make cake in Palworld, including the recipe and the tools you’ll need.
How to Make Cake in Palworld
To make cake in Palworld, you’ll first need to craft a Cooking Pot and gather the necessary ingredients, including:
- x5 Flour
- x8 Red Berries
- x7 Milk
- x8 Eggs
- x2 Honey
You can unlock the Cooking Pot from your technology tree at Level 17, which opens up a host of new recipes for you to prepare. Using it will require a bit of help from Pals with Work Suitability for Kindling. Otherwise, you’ll be slaving over meals for quite a while. Making cake is a somewhat tedious process, too, as the cooking rate is much slower than that of other consumables. Because of this, I recommend recruiting Pals with at least Level 2 Kindling, like Arsox.
Gathering the Ingredients
Fortunately, each of the ingredients to make cake are relatively easy to come by in Palworld. Let’s take a look at each ingredient needed for the recipe and how to get it.
- Flour — You can make flour from wheat once you reach Level 15 and unlock the Mill from your technology tree. Once you’ve built this structure, wheat is the only thing it can be used to make. Luckily, this makes the task of farming flour pretty easy, given you have a steady supply of wheat coming from your Wheat Plantation(s).
- Honey — Several Pals drop honey when you defeat them in battle. While Cinnamoth are the most common and the easiest to beat, you should aim to capture a Beegarde or two. This is because Beegarde drops honey when you assign it to your ranch, allowing you to farm this resource passively. The Grass-type is also suitable for most jobs, making it a solid addition to your workforce.
- Milk — Similarly, Milk is a guaranteed drop when you defeat wild Mozzarina, though it’s in your best interest to capture one and assign it to the ranch. This way, you’ll have a consistent supply of Milk for all your baking needs. You’ll find this Neutral-type fairly early on by the Ravine Entrance fast travel point. If you catch one early, you’ll have a hefty supply of Milk established by the time you need it.
- Eggs — One of the easiest ingredients to get your hands on, Eggs are guaranteed drops from defeating wild Chikipi. you might even find stray eggs laying around on the ground during your travels. However, the most efficient method to collect eggs is to assign Chikipi to the ranch at your base.
- Red Berries — You’ll find red berries growing throughout most biomes in Palworld, and you can grow your own supply once you unlock the Red Berry Plantation from your technology tree. However, you can also catch a Caprity, which drops red berries when you assign it to the ranch. In all, there are a few ways to add to your stores.
