The newest event in Once Human introduced a new rare resource that can be used as currency, called Sproutlets. The game was down for maintenance for several hours on July 18th, a new patch was applied, and many bugs were fixed. However, developers also added an event to the game that lets players collect a new resource that they can use to purchase various new weapon and armor modes, cosmetics, and crafting materials. So let’s find out how to get Sproutlets in the game and where they can be used.

How to Get Sproutlets in Once-Human

Sproutlets can only be collected during a Rosetta transport truck event between 9 PM and 10 PM in-game time. This is a PvP and PvE event, during which a Rosetta truck will spawn on the Red Sands highways. Before players can collect Sproutlets, they have to stop the truck. Luckily, the Rosetta truck does not fight back, and it will not damage player’s vehicles. So feel free to ram or shoot the truck until it’s stopped.

Once the truck is stopped, Sproutlets will appear scattered around it, along with a jellyfish-looking thing. This jellyfish will attach to the player who is closest to the truck, and only a player with a jellyfish attached can collect Sproutlets. However, since only one player can be the chosen collector, be prepared for potential competitors, especially on PvP servers.

How to Use Sproutlets in Once Human

There is a new NPC Nisa in the game, and visiting her gives players an option to exchange collected Sproutlets. The new NPC can be located in every safe zone city, like Greywater, Tall Grass Inn, or Deadsville. Nisa is hard to miss, just look for a small girl with a big jellyfish-looking head.

Nisa’s shop gives players the option to exchange hard-earned Sproutlets for various mods, consumables, or special items. Getting the best items on display will set players back a 1000 Sproutlets. However, there are also smaller items like Stardust Source that can be bought for 10 Sproutlets or less. So make sure to be prepared to fight a bit if you want to purchase more of the rare items.
