Once Human dropped on July 10, and the players instantly complained about one annoying feature in the game. Well, the devs decided to undo this injustice and quickly appeased the community with a fix. Now, the players can enjoy Once Human without this huge gameplay issue hanging over their heads.
The Players Claim One Issue is Ruining the Gameplay
In a since-scratched-out announcement in the game-news section of the Once Human Discord channel, Yager-the-Yager posted: “This is important. Be aware to choose your server. Due to some tech issues, you can only create one character, and you can NOT delete your character. This means if you chose the wrong server, you can not switch to any other servers with your current account”.
As you might have expected, this caused an avalanche of angry comments on various social media platforms. Players were extremely disappointed when they realized they were stuck on a server with a character they couldn’t even delete. Some even went as far as threatening they would quit the game over this issue.
A Redditor, deniisd, noted: “Haha, yeah, too late for me. I went PvP, my friends chose PvE so now I’m locked. Well f**k it so many other games to play, but this has to be the worst thing I’ve ever seen on a launch, lol. Lock the players on servers”.
One player, dkb_wow, complained: “My friends and I are all stuck on different servers because we were goofing around with the character creator as we do in every game that has one. Now we’re stuck with these characters, can’t delete them, and can’t play together. This completely ruins all the excitement we had for this game”.
The Developers Efficiently Solved the Problem
Thankfully, the Once Human devs saved the day by fixing the aforementioned gameplay issue. Yager the Yager shared another statement: “We’ve heard your feedback, and the devs really put some effort into fixing this issue. Now multiple-character creation is available”.
They added: “We initially closed multi-character creation because the experience wasn’t up to snuff. We wanted to perfect it by August 1, but that plan backfired. Sorry about that! We appreciate your understanding as we work to make things right for you”.
Once Human players quickly and efficiently spread the word among themselves, it seems that all is well that ends well. This gesture from the developers really made us all look forward to what else they’ll bring to the table. Now you can truly enjoy the game.
