From the start of your playthrough in My Time at Sandrock, you’ll meet a long list of romanceable characters. While most are available to meet upon your arrival in town, others will take a bit of time to unlock. As you work to commission projects and spend time getting to know each of the town’s bachelors and bachelorettes, you’ll have the option to go out on dates. Eventually, you can even marry eligible candidates. Here’s a rundown of all romanceable characters in the game to help you decide which is your best fit.
Bachelors in My Time at Sandrock
Arvio

Arvio is Amirah’s brother and the owner of the general goods store, By the Stairs. He’s a sweet-talker through and through, though this may be a ploy to sell his merchandise. In any case, Arvio is undeniably charming, and he works hard to keep his business running.
Burgess
Burgess is in charge of the water tower in Sandrock, and he takes his job quite seriously. While he is generally kind and loyal, he won’t hesitate to give you a stern talking to if he catches you chopping down any trees in the Eufala Desert. For your information, cacti also fit the bill. Above all else, Burgess is conscientious and dedicated to his cause.
Ernest
Ernest isn’t a resident of Sandrock, so you’ll need to make a significant dent in the main story to meet him. He works as a writer in the town of Atara and decides to visit Sandrock as a means to find inspiration. Upon his arrival, he becomes interested in Logan, the notoriously wanted criminal.
Fang

Depending on how you look at it, Fang is one of the most difficult marriage candidates to get to know. He doesn’t talk much himself, so he relies on his pet raven, X, to do the talking. You could say these two are a package deal. You can usually spot the duo foraging for plant products in the Quarry, which they then use to concoct medicinal products back at the clinic.
Justice

As his name suggests, Justice is all about protecting the town as the acting head of the Civil Corps. If you’ve wandered too close to the edge of Sandrock, this bachelor has likely stepped in to save you from approaching Geeglers. On the back of his white horse, Justice oversees the happenings of the town with enthusiasm and a keen eye.
Logan

You might not have realized it, but Logan is one of the first marriage candidates you met on your Sandrock playthrough. At least, in spirit. You catch a glimpse of this bad guy with a heart of gold as he overlooks the town in the game’s opening cutscene. He eventually arrives in Sandrock, where you can then strike up a conversation and learn more about his life as a vigilante monster hunter.
Miguel
Miguel is a dedicated member of the church in Sandrock. In fact, he trained alongside Matilda and even arrived in town before the beloved minister. He puts his knowledge to use by submitting suggestions to better the church’s program and the overall management of the town. That said, you don’t see much of Miguel. To get to know him, you’ll need to seek him out.
Pablo

Pablo runs the parlor in town, which is fittingly named after his own expertise. Although, you’ll need to log a few hours in the main story to unlock access to his services. When you first arrive in Sandrock, Pablo is off looking for inspiration. Upon his return, he reopens Pablo’s Parlor, which specializes in hair and makeup.
Pen

Although he isn’t an active member of the Civil Corps, Pen is a self-declared protector of Sandrock. As such, he takes it upon himself to teach you a bit of self-defense. Whether you’re down to spar or not, he does offer you a great opportunity to hone your weapons skills. Pen revels in the grandiose lifestyle of fighting off monsters, but he can sometimes place too much importance on appearances.
Qi

Like Fang, Qi isn’t really one for talking. He’d rather get straight down to business and take a closer look at any data discs you find in the Eufala Desert. However, what he lacks in social skills, he certainly makes up for in his expertise as a scientist. In fact, he’s so dedicated to his research that he sometimes forgets to relax for a bit. When he does take breaks, he enjoys a good cup of tea.
Unsuur

You’ll se a lot of Unsuur as you go about your business in Sandrock. Not much is known about his life before he arrived in Sandrock, but he’s dedicated to his job as a member of the Civil Corps. Quiet and unassuming, he doesn’t stand out much from the crowd. However, it’s safe to say he’s an active member of the community and he’s committed to his cause.
Owen

Owen is the charming owner of the Blue Moon Saloon, just a short walk from your workshop in Sandrock. He knows all the residents in town well enough to fill you in when you arrive. In fact, you’ll have an event with this bachelor early on in the game, during which he shares dinner with you at the Saloon. As a Sandrock native, he’s both knowledgeable and welcoming.
Bachelorettes in My Time at Sandrock
Amirah

Amirah is Arvio’s sister and a talented craftswoman in Sandrock. She runs a pottery business in town, where she sells ceramics and clay goods. While she has an affinity for this craft, Amirah is interested in all mediums of art, from painting to sculpting. Her work is so impressive that her name has begun to spread to towns outside of Sandrock.
Catori

Catori runs the Golden Goose, a renowned game center on the outer edge of Sandrock. It’s her dream to make a living as a successful entrepreneur, and she aims to eventually build an entertainment complex in the desert. Her ambition is certainly admirable, as she left her unsupportive husband to move to Sandrock. While she works to achieve her goals, she has entrusted her mother with the care of her son.
Elsie

A Sandrock native, Elsie is a ranch hand over at the ranch homestead outside of town. She’s often seen caring for the horses in the stable or spending time with her parents, Cooper and Mabel. She cares deeply for animals, even taking the time to teach you how to ride a horse. Elsie is both passionate about her work and loyal to those she’s close with.
Grace

Grace’s reputation as a terrible cook tends to precede her. As such, you might have heard a thing or two about her cooking mishaps well before you had a chance to meet her. Even so, Grace is bound and determined to learn from her mistakes and improve her skills as a chef at the Blue Moon Saloon. She maintains a good sense of humor and an upbeat attitude to match.
Heidi

One of the most stylish residents of Sandrock, it only makes sense that Heidi owns and operates the Construction Junction. She even writes for the Tumbleweed Standard, to boot. Although Heidi is highly educated and capable, she remains both down-to-earth and warm. With her help, you can work to add chic and personal touches to your workshop.
Jane
Although you couldn’t romance her during the game’s early access period, Jane is a now one of the available marriage candidates in My Time at Sandrock. That said, you’ll need to make a good bit of progress in the game before you have a chance to meet her. Working as a schoolteacher, Jane moved away from town. However, she moves back home during the main story.
Mi-an

A fellow Builder, Mi-an is one of the very first characters to introduce themselves in Sandrock. She meets you at the train station when you arrive in town, perfectly demonstrating her friendly and cheerful personality. Lively and knowledgeable about her work, Mi-an is quite capable of accomplishing anything she sets her mind to. She’s always willing to learn and try new things.
Nia

You’ll likely recognize Nia as your childhood friend and pen pal during your time in Sandrock. Although she wasn’t one of the eligible marriage candidates in the game’s early access period, Nia can now be romanced with the full release. Residing in Highwind, she comes to visit Sandrock after an altercation with Logan at the desert town’s water tower.
Venti

If you didn’t clock Venti as one of the marriage candidates upon meeting her, you’re not alone. She tends to blend in with the other workers over at Eufala Salvage. That said, she’s a key part of the team. Venti can usually be found mining in the desert or hanging out inside the main building of the facility. Having grown up in an Old World junkyard, she’s optimistic and resilient.
