Those who put a lot of thought into their character’s look will likely spend a lot of time perfecting their appearance. That said, there’s no need to worry if you’re unsatisfied with the outcome. There are several things you can do to change your appearance after you create your character at the start of the game. Here’s a rundown of what you’re able to change and how to do it.
Can You Change Your Appearance in My Time at Sandrock?
Yes, you can change your appearance following the character creation process at the start of My Time at Sandrock. However, you’ll need to unlock Pablo’s Parlor in order to alter your facial features, hair, and more. Once Pablo arrives in town, you’ll be able to visit the parlor in town to change up your look anytime you want. You can also equip different clothing sets that you find and purchase to put together a new outfit.

How to Change Your Character’s Appearance in My Time at Sandrock
There are several things you can do to change up your look in My Time at Sandrock, from altering you facial features and hair to wearing new clothing. From early on, you’ll have access to various clothing items, some of which are even mailed to you by your parents. However, you’ll need to make a bit more progress in the game to alter other aspects of your appearance, such as your face and hair.
Changing Your Clothing
To change your clothing in My Time at Sandrock, you’ll just need to select the piece from your inventory. You can see the directives for each item outlined at the bottom of your screen. Hover over the clothing item you want to wear, then choose Equip to put it on.
New clothing pieces can be purchased from Vivi’s shop, Tailor Made. Like most shops, it’s located in the heart of Sandrock. If you head straight into town from your workshop, you can’t miss it. It’s one of the first buildings on your left. Whether Vivi is present at the storefront or not, you can browse her wares from the register in front of the store. Just mind the shop hours, which are from 8 a.m. to 24 p.m.
Tailor Made sells the following types of items from the start of the game:
- Thread
- Pigments
- Canvas
- Headwear
- Scarves
- Tops
- Bottoms
- Shoes
Changing Your Face and Hair
Once you’ve created your character in My Time at Sandrock, you won’t be able to change your facial features or hair until you unlock Pablo’s Parlor next to City Hall. This is done after you start the quest entitled Operation De-Geeglate. Upon Pablo’s arrival in town, you’ll just need to introduce yourself to access his parlor.
At Pablo’s Parlor, you can change almost every aspect of your face and hair, including the following features:
- Hair Color
- Hairstyle
- Eyebrows
- Facial Hair
- Face Tattoos
- Eyeshadow
- Blush
- Lipstick
Note that you won’t be able to alter your skin color or eye color. If you’re looking to edit these aspects of your appearance, then you’ll need to start a new game and create another character.
