If you’re just starting out in My Time at Sandrock, then you might be wondering what a Retro Fan is and how to get it. Here’s everything you need to know about this item and where to buy it.
In My Time at Sandrock, you take on the role of a Builder who is tasked with putting the title town back on the map after it was devastated by the Day of Calamity. This is no easy task, as you’ll need to source the proper materials and get to know the townsfolk to recruit the help you need. Among the people of Sandrock is Owen, who runs the Blue Moon Saloon. As you get to know him better, he’ll ask you to get him a Retro Fan. Fortunately, this item is relatively easy to get your hands on, though you’ll need to know where to look. Here’s where to go.
What is the Retro Fan in My Time at Sandrock?
The Retro Fan is a Level 20 item that’s available for purchase early on in My Time at Sandrock. As its name suggests, it’s a retro-style fan that’s described as attractive to admirers of this furniture type. It also increases defense by +14 to boot.
As you befriend Owen, the owner of the Blue Moon Saloon, he’ll ask you to get this item for him. While the bulk of the items you’ll acquire in the game can be built from scrap materials, you won’t be able to craft this gift. Instead, you’ll need to spend some hard-earned tokens.
Where to Get the Retro Fan in My Time at Sandrock
From the start of your playthrough, you’ll see the Retro Fan available at the Game Center in My time at Sandrock. You can set a waypoint on your map to to get there in no time, as pictured in the above image.
To buy this gift, you’ll just need to head over to the counter inside the shop. Your purchase will set you back 150 tokens. This is nothing to scoff at if you haven’t started earning money just yet. If you come up short on cash, Catori will suggest playing a few games of Whac-a-Mole right outside the shop.
