We’ve witnessed some amazing feats, however, this one takes the cake. Recently, a Helldivers 2 YouTuber showed that all you need to complete a solo run on Super Helldive, with no deaths, is an improvised WW1 build. And skill, lots and lots of skill.
Can You Really Complete a Solo Super Helldive Run With a WW1 Loadout?
Sarge, the devoted Helldiver who managed to accomplish this dive, shared their experience on YouTube. This player managed to complete a Helldive mission on Vernen Wells, and not only did they accomplish a full clear, but they didn’t die once. The most impressive of all things, they did all that with a WW1-inspired loadout, including the controversial Constitution and the Senator.
This player shared: “Primary: Constitution. Secondary: Senator. Throwable: Thermite. Armor: Infiltrator. Helmet: Tactical. Cape: Foesmasher”. They noted: “Sadly, I couldn’t show how the build handles gunships cuz they got bugged. But in case you wonder, it takes around 2 mags from the Constitution and 5 shots from the Senator, so it’s not that bad”.
Helldivers 2 Players Praise Sarge and Their WW1 Build
As you may have expected, this feat impressed Helldivers worldwide. In Helldivers 2 we’ve seen plenty of WW1 builds, successful solo runs, and runs with no deaths on Super Helldive, but usually not all in one. We found this video extremely relaxing, as Sarge managed to find their way out of even the most stressful situations.
One player, mattm3023, noted: “Love these kinds of runs. I tried to solo the Constitution on a mid-level bot Eradicate mission and it didn’t go fantastically lol. Won’t stop me from trying again though”.
Another player, asraarradon4115, added: “Me and my friends had a blast using this on mid-difficulties with the Peak Physique armor on. We were just all melee killing everything and dying a lot. It was hilarious. Definitely a fun meme weapon for when the mood strikes. But, yeah, when we are playing more seriously this will be sitting in the armory while we dive”.
Other players shared their own WW1 loadouts. One Helldiver, epsdudez, suggested: “For my WW1 build, I took: Constitution, Senator, Frag grenades, 380 Orbital Barrage, Orbital Gas Strike, Anti-personnel minefield, MG-43 machine gun”. So, if you feel inspired to try a WW1 build, you can always customize it however you want.
It’s always refreshing to see players show off what they can do. We’re perpetually amazed by skillful Helldivers, and if you have some time on your hands, we suggest you watch Sarge’s video. However, if you’d rather give this loadout a go, you can do so while contributing to the Major Order. Even though it’s been challenging, we think Helldivers will complete this one.
