“The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” Helldivers 2 Players Share Honest First Impressions About the Truth Enforcers Warbond

Helldivers 2 new Warbond Truth Enforcers preview

The latest Warbond just dropped. Were the leaks right and did the Warbond meet the players’ expectations? Well, one thing is for sure, Helldivers 2 players have a lot of opinions about the Truth Enforcers Warbond, and some of them probably aren’t as positive as the devs hoped.

The Truth Enforcers Warbond Is Here

On October 31, just as it was announced, the Truth Enforcers Warbond arrived. To mark the occasion, the devs posted an announcement on the official Helldivers 2 page on X. They also posted a video showcasing all the goodies in the Warbond.

The announcement read: “It’s about time we gave Helldivers some Ministry of Truth-approved equipment to match our deep, enduring love of and commitment to the Truth. The Truth Enforcers Premium Warbond has been deployed. With these tools, you will become one of Super Earth’s official Truth Enforcers”.

Let’s start with the good. First, let us remind you that even before the Warbond dropped, the emote became a meme, and you’ll probably see it a lot in the next couple of weeks. Aside from that, the players loved the designs.

Gheezy-yute noted: “The new Warbond is sick. The drip is insane. I just paid for Super Credits for the first time ever in this game. Not because I needed to, but as a thank you to AH for all this cool stuff”. With all the recent tips on farming Super Credits, not many players need to buy them anymore. However, many players still purchase them, to show appreciation to the devs.

Some weapons were greatly appreciated. Draconimur raved: “So far only gotten to the new shotgun yet. I think it’s great, though it could use 24 rounds instead of 16”. Another player, kribmeister, added: “Armors look great, can’t quite tell how well the passive works yet. The shotgun seems really good on the first test. The Booster drains health at quite a slow rate so I guess it can be useful in some scenarios”.

Helldivers Have Some Complaints About the New Warbond

As you may have expected, not all Helldivers 2 players were perfectly content with the Truth Enforcers Warbond. Although the reviews were mostly positive, there were some glaring oversights, according to some fans.

Probably the biggest issue was that this Warbond didn’t feature heavy armor. Velshed complained: “Not having a heavy armor with unflinching passive is a massive missed opportunity. Knowing AH, there might be a chance that they bring a heavy armor with the same passive in the future but releasing a Warbond along with the superstore update that has a cape and player card thrown in was a disappointment”.

LemonySniket added: “The last Warbond didn’t even come out with heavy armor. So, how about slowing down the hard-locked armor production line a bit? Half of the perks have nothing to do with how the armor looks, many perks would easily fit other armors”.

Another problem came up when the players tried out the SMG-32 Reprimand. Drekkennought stated: “I don’t know why they bothered to lean toward an SMG design when it lacks the primary niche of the category. The only thing that makes it an SMG is its design. The stats and lack of one-handed support make it lean closer towards a high-powered carbine. I’m honestly disappointed”.

Well, we’d certainly advise you to try out everything on your own. Some weapons, like the Constitution, are extremely polarizing, so some love them while others hate them. Also, now is the perfect opportunity to try out anything and everything that you’d like, as the Major Order is in progress, and we should all contribute. For Liberty and Super Earth.
