“General Brach Approved” Helldivers 2 Players Share Arrowhead’s Wholesome Response to Their Wedding Invitation

It’s important to celebrate the big events in our lives with our community, friends, and family. When someone’s getting married, the whole idea is to celebrate the couple and their love for each other, so it’s important to include the things they enjoy doing together. Therefore, a couple of devoted Helldivers 2 players decided to send their wedding invitation to Arrowhead. What they didn’t expect was for Arrowhead to actually send them back a response.

Helldivers 2 Team Responds to a Wedding Invitation

A devoted Helldiver, and the groom, CPTScragglyBeard, shared their story with the community on Reddit. This player noted: “Sent AH a wedding invite and General Brasch responded”. The OP added: “My wife and I both helldive, been diving since the game came out and I am a veteran of the First Galactic war. Hopefully, we get a c-01 permit so we can start on the next generation of Helldivers”.

Now, as you probably know, Arrowhead already has a reputation for having wholesome interactions with the players. So, it wasn’t surprising that the team decided to send a response to the happy couple, as well as a certificate.

This note, issued by the Ministry of Unity, was full of references to the couple’s favorite game. The Arrowhead team gently reminded the loving couple: “Teamwork is essential and maintaining
open communication channels will ensure the continued success of your mission”.

The end of the note read: “Thank you for your service to Super Earth and to love. May your new mission be filled with successful operations, effective conflict resolution, and many years of happiness. Please receive this certificate as a token of our deep admiration and respect for your commitment to each other and your exemplary service in the field of matrimony. Respectfully, Arrowhead team”.

Of course, the AH team attached a certificate signed by none other than General Brasch. In a true Super Earth fashion, the category for receiving recognition had to be marked with an X, but the sentiment was obviously there.

Helldivers Praise Arrowhead for Their Gesture

Well, it’s sufficient to say – everyone liked this. Helldivers 2 community felt that Arrowhead gave the perfect response to a wedding invitation. Although, some players noticed that Arrowhead missed an opportunity to attach another form.

FinHead1990 noted: “Sweet Liberty – this whole response is gold and extremely sweet of the team to take the time for – but an approved C-01 form mockup would have really put it over the top. I’d have died laughing”. Now, for those of you in the unknown, the C-01 form, or “Childhood Protection Document” is “a document citizens of Super Earth must fill out before undertaking any action that could result in the birth of a child”.

Aside from this missed opportunity, players wholeheartedly praised Arrowhead. One player, the_pslonky, stated: “This is great, and it’s why I love AH as a dev team and Helldivers’ setting as a whole. Congratulations OP”. Internal-Insect-9683 added: “This is why, despite of all the development problems and controversy, I can’t help but love AH”.

So, the next time you have a big occasion, remember to invite your favorite developers, as they might surprise you. In the meantime, don’t forget that a Major Order is in progress (unless you’re a Chaosdiver), and Helldivers could use some help. For Liberty and Super Earth.
