Sometimes, after a long day, it’s nice to relax and watch a relaxing movie. Then again, why watch any movie if you can watch a spectacular animated short packed with action, featuring none other than the one and only General Brasch from Helldivers 2?
A Helldivers 2 Fan Created an Incredible Animated Short
One amazing artist, EPG-6, created an animated short that left the Helldivers worldwide completely stunned. In it, you can see why General Brasch doesn’t need support from fellow Helldivers when diving.
The creator noted: “Sweet Liberty, we’re saved! I pulled an all-nighter to wrap this one up, though it turned out a little darker than I thought it would. I’m still getting the hang of Blender’s new lighting”.
This animated short shows a bunch of Helldivers cornered by pesky Automatons, only for General Brasch to appear and single-handedly defeat all of the bots. The video is ridiculously action-packed and even more enjoyable and satisfying to watch.
One player, zipitnick, noted: “This animation was simply out of this world. The level of artistry and passion poured into every second is nothing short of breathtaking. It’s a true testament to the power of Helldivers fandom. The emotional impact, combined with the impeccable pacing along with the camera angles made it feel like an official work to me”.

If you’ve seen the video, you can understand where all the hype comes from. Helldivers 2 players were simply mesmerized by General Brasch in this animated short. The man, the myth, the legend.
One player stated: “General Brasch has been dead for years, death has just been afraid to tell him”. SPACEFUNK added: “A Stalker once bit General Brasch and injected venom. After an hour of agonizing pain, the Stalker died”.
AgentNewMexico shared: “I once saw General Brasch lay waste to an entire Automaton Fortress with nothing more than a break-action shotgun. When he was done, he finally fired it to signal for Pelican-1”. Same_County_1101 joked: “Before getting tucked into their charging stations at night, the high cyborgs of Cyberstan check their closets for General Brasch”.
We truly love the creativity of the Helldivers 2 community. Hopefully, this cinematic masterpiece will get some more recognition, as it’s truly amazing. So, enjoy it, and then rejoin your fellow divers (hopefully not on an Eradicate mission). Prepare for the upcoming Liberty Day and the possible arrival of the third enemy faction.
