To get Sand Claws in LEGO Fortnite, you first need to find and defeat Sand Wolves. Sand Wolves are a second-tier type of Wolf, ie, a more dangerous version than the regular Wolf, that drops Wolf Claws. You will recognize them by their orange color and glowing red eyes. They roam the Beach, Desert biome, and Dry Valley biome. And lastly, you can only encounter Sand Wolves at night.
Better be prepared, it will be a tough fight, so maybe equip a Shield, to minimize the damage you take. Crossbows are quite useful here too, as other hostile creatures may also come to get you. Each defeated Sand Wolf will drop four Sand Claws.

What Are Sand Claws For?
Sand Claw is a material used for a lot of early game upgrades. For example, you need six Sand Claws, three Sand Shells, 12 Knotroot Rods, and 15 Marble Slabs for a Crafting Bench upgrade from Uncommon to Rare. You also need Sand Claws to build a Gem Cutter and a Loom. They are also needed to upgrade your equipment, like a Rare Pickaxe.
