Fortnite is known for collaborating with other franchises and pop culture icons. This usually results in a bunch of new skins, new quests, and even a whole new game mode. With the release of Chapter 5 Season 3, we got a couple more skins inspired by other games, such as The Employee from Lethal Company, a popular survival horror game. Luckily, Fortnite Island is lacking in horrors, so let’s see how to get The Employee skin in Fortnite.
Fortnite: How to Get The Employee Skin
The Employee is purchasable in the Fortnite Shop today, June 4. To do so, just visit the in-game Shop and you can find The Employee in today’s featured items. It has been in the shop since June 1. Naturally, Outfits cost some V-Bucks to purchase, and for The Employee you have to pay 1500 V-Bucks.
Items in the Shop rotate in and out, ie, the array of available cosmetics changes. What is available today may be gone tomorrow, and you’ll have to wait for weeks and even months before it comes back. The Employee should be in the shop somewhere until June 7 or 8.
What is The Employee Outfit
The Employee is a Gaming Legends Series skin, taken from the Lethal Company game. It is a character wearing a “decoy suit”: an orange jumpsuit with a “space helmet” The in-game description is: “Fulfill your quota or else.” There are no other styles apart from the orange one.
It is a part of the Lethal Company set, aptly named The Company. As for bundles, it is found in The Company bundle (priced at 2100 V-Bucks), including:
- The Employee Outfit
- Oxygen Tank Back Bling
- Company Jig Emote
- Stop Sign Pickaxe
The Employee skin was released in Chapter 5 Season 3, on June 1, 2024.
