Squirrels
Squirrels are among the most sociable critters you’ll meet in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’ll stumble upon these furry friends early on in the Plaza. Or, rather, they’ll come right up to you. This makes bonding with them relatively easy compared to other animals you’ll find throughout different biomes.

Rabbits
Rabbits can easily be found scurrying about the Peaceful Meadow. However, you’ll need to be a bit more patient with these little critters to successfully feed them. When you approach a rabbit, they’ll turn tail and hop three times. Keep following until the rabbit eventually allows you to feed it some food, usually after stopping for the fourth time.

Raccoons
You’ll find raccoons in the Forest of Valor. These guys are fast and generally quite timid. However, they’ll gladly stay put and watch from afar if they’d like something to eat. Just make sure you move slowly and quietly, or else you’ll risk scaring them off. Keep an eye on a raccoon’s body language to determine whether you should keep moving forward. If a raccoon’s head is perked up, they’ll likely run off. Stay cautious to successfully approach them.

Foxes
Foxes live in Frosted Heights. They can be quite friendly when they’re hungry, so they’re relatively easy to approach. That said, they tend to run off from one moment to the next, prompting you to follow them. Just as rabbits eventually sit still, a fox will finally stay put long enough for you to feed it a hearty snack.

Sea Turtles
Sea turtles can be found lounging about Dazzle Beach. While they can be a bit shy, they’re usually quite happy to receive some company. When you approach one of these aquatic animals, they’ll briefly tuck their head inside their shell. Wait just a moment for the turtle to warm up and accept a snack.

Crocodiles
Crocodiles may seem intimidating, but they tend to behave much like raccoons. When you meet these reptiles in the Glade of Trust, they’ll watch you from a safe distance. They’ll continue to monitor their surroundings for a bit, then glance down. This is your opportunity to make your approach. Keep moving slowly and cautiously until the crocodile raises its head again. Move forward once it’s looking down and repeat the process as needed to feed it some grub.

Sunbirds
You’ll find sunbirds freely flying about the Sunlit Plateau. While they tend to move very quickly, they’re not all that difficult to approach. Just do your best to keep pace with a sunbird’s flight pattern in order to feed it something tasty. The best snack depends on the color of the individual bird.

- Favorite Foods: Green Passion Lily (Emerald Sunbird), Sunflower (Golden Sunbird), Pink Bromeliad (Orchid Sunbird), Red Bromeliad (Red Sunbird), Pink Houseleek (Turquoise Sunbird)
Ravens
Found in the Forgotten Lands, Ravens are known to be quite clever and rather sociable. You won’t need to do too much to capture their attention while they’re in the air, but you should keep your movements slow to avoid spooking them. They’ll circle you for a moment to scope you out before landing for a snack.
