Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of quests, especially side quests. These can be as simple as assembling two items or pressing a (right) button. Or these can go as weird as talking cattle or deities-in-making. Today we will discuss an item needed for a simple assembly quest, where you will forge a cool magic weapon. Read on to see where to find Sussur Bark in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where to Find Sussur Bark in Baldur’s Gate 3?
To find Sussur Bark, you need to get to the Sussur Tree, which is located in the Underdark. The best way is to go directly to the Sussur Tree Waypoint, located in the Dread Hollow, on the west side of the Underdark. If you haven’t revealed this Waypoint yet, these Underdark entrances will get you closest to it: the entrance located in the Zhentarim Hideout, the Whispering Depths entrance, and the one at Selunite Temple. Alternatively, Underdark – Beach is a pretty close Waypoint. From there, simply go in the north-west direction and you will come across the Sussur Tree. Or, from the Underdark – Myconid Colony Waypoint go directly westward. You will recognize the Sussur Tree by its enormous roots and glowing white leaves.
But be careful. Hook Horrors, which are Level 4 monsters, are guarding this location, so be prepared for a fight. Climb the Sussur Tree branches and at the end, you will find Sussur Tree Bark. If you have trouble finding it, remember that pressing the Alt key highlights objects. There is also a Sussur Bloom flower nearby that will help you in another quest.
What is Sussur Bark?
Sussur Bark is an item needed to complete the ‘Finish the Masterwork Weapon‘ quest. It is the bark of a special tree that resonates with anti-magic energy. Once thrown into the furnace, any weapon created in its flames will have some anti-magic properties.
