Customization and editing your mech is an essential part of Armored Core 6. It helps players feel unique and nurtures a healthy playing environment. One part of customization is equipping Decals on your mechs, and Armored Core 6 allows you to download Decals made by your friends or content creators. How To Download Decals
Downloading Decals in Armored Core 6 is fairly straightforward. Here is how you can do it:
- Get the Share ID (12-digit unique code) for the particular Decal you want.
- Once you’ve got the Share ID, go to the Garage and select AC Design.
- Select Image Editor from the given options.
- Move over to Downloaded Decals.
- Click on the black box that allows you to download Decals, enter your Share ID, and the game will automatically download the Decal for that Share ID.
Once you’ve downloaded your preferred Decal, you can equip it anywhere you want on your mech. This aspect of mech customization immerses players into the game and prolongs game time as well. However, there are some requirements for downloading Decals.

Platform-Secured Decals
Every Decal can only be used on the same platform that it was created on. This means that a Decal created on Xbox cannot be used on PlayStation or PC. The same goes for the other two ecosystems. While this may create a slight hindrance in obtaining your Decal of choice, there are always tons of others to choose from.
Decals Not Uploaded
Another problem that some Armored Core 6 players face while downloading Decals is that the Decal isn’t uploaded onto the server. When a Decal is created, it automatically gains a unique Share ID but can’t be downloaded by other players until the creator uploads the Decal onto the main server.
How To Apply a Decal in Armored Core 6
After you’ve downloaded your chosen Decal, it’s time to get to work customizing your mech. To apply your Decal onto your mech, you need to go to the Decals function in the AC Design menu. Over here, you can choose which part of your mech you want to apply the Decal on. You have the choice to choose from head, core, R-arm, L-arm, and legs.
When you’ve decided which part you’ll be putting the Decal on, click on the part and navigate to its Custom Decals option. Here, you can see a wide variety of Decals available for you to use. Scroll to the very right towards Downloaded. Select the downloaded Decal you want to use and position it on your mech. Finally, adjust it accordingly to your preference, and you’re all done.

If you’re having trouble finding Share IDs for some cool Decals to download, you can always look through online forums like Reddit and Discord. You’ll find tons of people sharing Share IDs for their custom Decals. If you’re not interested, take a custom Decal from a friend or make one of your own!
