Armored Core 6 is the new game from FromSoftware, this is what we know about the game’s chances of moving to Xbox Game Pass. Fans of the mech game are asking whether or not Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be available for Game Pass subscribers as of launch.
Armored Core 6 is a mecha-based vehicular combat game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the first entry in the Armored Core series since Armored Core: Verdict Day in 2013 and was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on August 25, 2023. It is the first in the series to be released on Windows as well as console platforms.
Is Armored Core 6 coming to Xbox Game Pass?
It seems at the moment, Armored Core 6 in any edition, Deluxe edition, collector’s edition, or standard edition, will not be available on Microsoft Game Pass. Gamers will have to buy the Mission-Based Structure game at full price to play it on Xbox or look for the best online deals. This might be bad news for Xbox players looking to score any version of Armored Core in the near future as they look to play the mecha-filled action title on their favorite console.

Will Armored Core 6 arrive on Xbox Game Pass?
Although several Soulsborne games and Souls series games have been added to Game Pass, such as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, FromSoftware games have a poor track record of releasing their titles on the service. In fact, no FromSoftware game has ever been included in Game Pass, so it is unlikely that Fires of Rubicon will be available on the service anytime soon. Although it would be nice to see the likes of Bloodborne, Dark Souls, any of the Dark Souls trilogy, or Sekiro make their way to Game Pass with Armored Core 6, it seems unlikely that this will happen and Xbox Players will have to stay vigilant on the Microsoft store for any sales for their modern consoles.
What is Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon?
The game is set in a future where humanity has developed an interstellar civilization. On the frontier planet of Rubicon 3, a substance called Coral was discovered that could be used as both an energy source and a data conduit for tech. Coral was hailed as the key to humanity’s technological advancement, but instead, it caused a cataclysmic event known as the Fires of Ibis, which engulfed the planet and the surrounding star system in flames and left behind a lethal contaminant. All Coral in existence was thought to have been consumed by the disaster. Fifty years later, however, signs of Coral are once again detected on Planet Rubicon 3.
