What kind of game is The Finals?
The Finals is a game of opposing teams competing to be the first to finish objectives. They collect and extract cash, all in hopes of being the richest at the end of a round. Everything happens in an arena where buildings and terrain can be destroyed, but players can add some obstacles as well.
There is a choice between three different classes in the game. Classes bring different abilities and varied in-game movement speeds. Equipment and weapons are all left to players to pick and choose their preferred loadouts. Will you go for speed and ease of terrain traversal? Or play as a tank and just charge through walls.
The Finals is shaping up to be a fun and chaotic experience and the devs, Embark Studios, mentioned the movies Gladiator and The Hunger Games as inspiration.
