BNR: I’m not disappointed with Toren, but I feel that it was the end of a much bigger game that doesn’t exist- it didn’t feel like the video game equivalent of a novelette; it was more akin to the final chapter and epilogue of an epic novel. Toren is imperfect, and though it has flashes of brilliance, it’s not a game I can strongly recommend.
Indie Brazilian game developer Swordtales' adventure game, Toren, is now available on Mac.
The PlayStation 4 has plenty more years in it yet, but one of its most compelling selling points has been the robust support the console has enjoyed from independent developers.
