I'm going to let the games library of PS4 games build up so when I do buy one, there are 50+ games I want to play, and from that point one, I'll never have to wait for a game to play, there will always be one ready.

MaC3 is faster, sure, but its a terribly unbalanced game. And not a very good fighting game in my opinion.

This is coming from someone whose favorite fighting game of all time is MvC2.

MvC3's biggest problem were the infinite combos. What devs in their right mind would make a fighting game where landing one weak punch could lead to an infinite combo for the win? Thats just idiotic.

oh i love mvc2 even better I mentioned it because using ryu in that game is different from street fighter 4. Street fighter 4 just felt slow to me but in mvc I can put out combos way faster with ryu. I like a fast fighter

I would have to say that if anyone base their purchase decision solely on one character out of 30-40, then they must suck at fighting games, that is how I see it, if a fighting game does not have one or two of my favorite characters, well, no problem, I deal with playing another or a totally new character, SF4 didn't have Alex, but can't complain for the fact I be able to play with more, especially Abel, who is a little bit similar, so instead of saying "No Blanka, no buy", learn with someone else, and funny you based it solely on Blanka for the fact his electric charge is very scrub-friendly, and I wouldn't worry about Blanka for the sole purpose there are similar characters, such as Necro, which is a bit of a mix between Blanka, Dhalsin and wrestling, PARTNER.

LOL idc if it's ran on pc since obviously that's what most comments are going to lead to I just know being that this game will only be on pc plus ps4 I have no doubt that they will both be similar in terms of graphics and gameplay. This game looks nice and i'm really loving the cover art for it as well I wish it was a steel case I hope the collectors editions has a ryu figure doing that exact pose.

Seriously, why some people only think about graphics and not gameplay, especially in fighting games. You don't play fighting games for graphics, but you play it because gameplay. Hell, i even don't mind if capcom going back with 2D sprites for SF V as long as they make great, fun, and challenging gameplay.

Add a couple characters, upgrade the graphics a little and change the name a bit. How else do you explain 5 versions of street fighter 4 in 6 years? Same will happen with sf5. Get super street fighter 5 a year later and you will get a couple extra characters for full retail price

Did you know how many years between SF III: 3rd Strike and before Capcom let Yoshinori Ono make SF IV? It's NINE F*KIN YEARS!

Lol, let's just come out and point out the obvious... You're bitter as hell. When in The entire life of the franchise has there ever been blood in street fighter...? The game already plays better than 4, in that there are parries and a more intuitive combo system.

And if you you want to talk about graphics. Its CLEARLY a design choice as the models are cartoon/animated. Street Fighter has never taken it's self seriously visual as its pushes technique and visual aesthetics over ultra realistic characters. This isn't mortal combat or even killer instinct. You're bitter this isn't coming to xbo at least in this current form.

Its a work in progress, but KIs gameplay and characters are better imo (comparing alphas). This game moves to slow for me now. But ill reserve judgement until a more complete build is up. Check Kan Ra or Maya's gameplay to see what I mean.

Looks similar, but has a year of development to go.

Gameplay has a different system, seems like a SF4 / SF3 hybrid (leaning more towards SF4), and it's understandable because SF4 was the best selling game since SF2, while SF3 was the most popular in tournaments.

The most excited part of the match is to see chun li chain a combo which is like 6 hit at tops. Do you know how many combos that Ryu has alone? Street Fighter's combo engine allows players to combo with kicks and punches. It's what makes characters like Chun Li, Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Sakura, Bison so dangerous. they can fake you with a slow fierce and start the combo just as an opponent commits to making a move. It's funny how people seem to be making comments about Street Fighter based on what they've seen and the comments they make clearly show they have never played a Street Fighter game at least with any type of skill.

As far as next gen, this is not that impressive,yet. I know this is dev footage, but Killer instinct looks far better more going on onscreen, particles , etc... I have not played SSB yet, getting that on the 25th...but from what I've seen of that one too, its pretty impressive as well. SFV has to up the ante especially with MKX coming and looking pretty impressive...Capcom doesnt give me a lot of confidence.....

Looks like you haven't played KI yet. Yes, particle effects is correct. And SF5 needs them. That fireball Ryu throws is nothing to get excited for.

I'm a huge Street Fighter fan, from playing the original Street Fighter down the local Arcade, being gifted Street Fighter II for the SNES or being blown away by Street Fighter IV for my PS3. This latest instalment however (judging on showed footage) looks unlikely to have me in a hurry to upgrade from my copy of Street Fighter IV Ultra (PC). Looks less an evolution more devolution...if that makes sense.

Yeah but I mean, how many people were REALLY even playing SF? It comes out, people go nuts in that first month, but then it's just the competitive/tournament players left which is a really small number in comparison to other games.
