The China-Only PS4 Has a Dragon Paintjob

The PlayStation 4 is finally launching in China. The console will go on sale next January 11. And when the PS4 does, it's getting a special version, just for China.

This is the Special Dragon Edition, which will be available at launch along with the Jet Black and Glacier White 500GB PlayStation 4. The hardware is retailing for 2,899 RMB or US$469.

I would LOVE to have a Dragon PS4...that design is kick-ass. It would just need to be without all the restrictions that the Chinese Govt places on them.

So, first Sony puts PS4 with a PS1 design and colors in such low number that they're going for $15k on EBay, now they're offering incredibly cool face plates that are region specific.

It's like Pokemon'. They really do a great job of getting people to buy more than 1 console lately. I am thinking of painting each room of my house to match each console in every room. :P

I would love to get my hands on those face plate. I have a friend who is a grafitti artist. He borrowed my PS4 system and i thought it was wierd because he was never interested in games. I lend it to him thinking that he probably end up pawning it for money or something. 2 weeks later he returned it to me and have painted an awesome pictures (ill try to post it when i get home) that was inspired by an artist he saw on youtube. I asked him how he did it. He said he had to sand down the face plate with a low grade sand paper. Painted it, and spray a protective coating on it so the paint wont scratch off.

It was similiar to this but he put his own spin on it.

Yea, I have too much trust in my friends. But it turned out well though. A lot of my other friends who owns Ps4 are asking me to tell my friends to do it for them too. I have two PS4. Im going try to remove the entire casing and have him paint it.
