I'm Gameflying most titles, but I think GTAV is the kind of game you buy, it's hard to be done with it.

I resisted for awhile but finally admitted to myself that I wanted to play it again in first person, especially after watching the PS3 to PS4 difference video. I caught a few people streaming it today on Live from Playstation. They were quickly banned but I did see enough to know I made the right decision for myself. Looking forward to this and Far Cry 4 next week. I caught some quickly banned FC4 streams as well and it looked great too.

I have no reason why I got disagrees on adding virtual reality support. Please tell me why you don't want that or why that effects you? And trust me VR glasses changes the experience of a game drastically. Once you go VR you don't want to go back. Game in development has a beta called Technolust. Probably the best experience I ever had with a game. To bad its short. Can't wait till the game is released.

it doesn't warrent a rebuy ? this game will be the best game on next gen systems for a very long time. i guess you can keep playing indie games and trash like Assassin's Creed. i'll be playing this for months. i put over 200 hours on the last gen version.

Halo is a collection of 4 game. Some as old as 14 years. List game was just bought by some of these people last year. I am not here to tell people how to spend their money 💵. It is just no way I would rebuy a game so quickly. Unless of course, there was nothing else on my system that interest me. But I have plenty to play. Too much already actually.

I bought it day 1 on PS3, and I have it pre-ordered on PS4. The graphics, while being a very noticeable upgrade, are not the only reason to buy it again. It's actually far from the only reason.

Same here. I have absolutely zero problems with shelling out money again. If there is any game that deserves it, it's this one. They did hell of a job to excite people again.

Not a night and day difference, but certainly an improvement. I think of this as more of an upgraded port than a remaster.

That said, I will still buy it for online shenanigans and to play the story mode with the kind of visual quality rockstar had originally intended.

I have heard quite a few people refer to it as a remaster. Especially when somebody refers to halo MCC as the best remaster ever. somebody actually replied to one of my posts in a halo thread referring to GTA V as the "best remaster".

They've most likely been working on the next-gen/PC version all along, but needed more time to optimize it to their standards. I don't look at it as a remaster, but just a late next-gen release.

Edit: I'm aware of what the PC modders can do. I'm one of them. I didn't help with ICEnhancer or anything, but give Rockstar a break. This is a massive leap in visuals.

People like you make me laugh... why?... well , I will try to explain .

Every year gamers buy the COD's , the Football , hockey , basketball , with little to no upgrades from the previous versions. Yes Cod gets new maps and a new 5 or 6 hour single player campaign , and the sports games get new rosters and little tweaks here and there , basically a fresh coat of paint to make it seem new.

Bare with me here , there is a point to this.

GTAV ... well , it's the same game right? Better graphics and a tone of new shit in the current version that isn't in the last gen version , same game but better.
But there is one BIG difference that GTAV will be bring to the new consoles that Cod and every sports game or any game for that matter won't be. And that is the carrying over of all your stats , money , character level , cars and apartments.

So what makes me laugh at all you guys who haven't played GTAV because you wanted to wait for the current gen version ?
Well , there is a ton of high level players crossing over to GTAV on the new consoles, my self included . And we have all the fully upgraded weapons , armor, cars ... everything...

Los Santos is a dangerous city ... good luck to all you low level guys, and hope you don't run into guys like me or you wont stand a chance. You will just be jumping from server to server.

Now let explain to you the assumptions:

Assumption #1: "I waited to buy GTA V on Next Gen"

Reality check #1:

uh No I didn't. Didn't even know GTA V would come to Next Gen 1st off & 2nd THE REASON I didn't buy GTA V last gen was cause I simply was not "interested" in it at the time(for several reasons), and I think what has changed my mind mostly is the "1st Person Mode" which is my favorite type of game.....try asking next time maybe?

Assumption #2: I will play GTA V online

Reality Check #2: Again wrong, if this was the Gong Show or Baseball(strike 2!!) you'd now be in a "precarious predicament".....I have no interest in playing GTA V online, that IS NOT an allure for me, and yes there are several reasons why that is so, but it is irrelevant.

In closing...what makes me laugh is self deluded and cocky gamers with assumptions and "keyboard bravado".

I put a pre order on it and this is the first article I've seen thats made me think it might have been a mistake. If this article is true and those really are the correct comparison shots than there is something being hidden about the quality of the next gen remaster. These shots do seem a little too drastic in difference to me to believe though but every other next gen shot has had this dark look to it.
