The Evil Within's most Obvious Resident Evil Easter Egg

Shinji Mikami ignores all the rules on tough to find easter eggs and devotes an entire level to past glories in The Evil Within.

It's the mansion it's self that is an Easter egg. A Resident Evil fan could point it out at the drop of a hat. The dinning room is in the same place as the dinning room in Resident Evil mansion dinning room.

Yeah, its the mansion. Its laid out almost identically to the original RE. To the point where it can't be a mistake or coincidence. Very nice looking though.

Not the mansion. It's one of the first encounters near a shack/in woods, after escaping the cataclysmic events in the ambulance.

Yeah that too, but you cant ignore the mansion either. You walk in the fron door to a stairway that goes up in both directions then meets in the middle to lead to the 2nd floor. The placement of the rooms on the first floor. The dining room. Its all there and is not an accident.

I thought you were going to mention seeing the first enemy you fight tear into a guys throat, his head rolling off, followed by that monster slowly turning to face you - much like the first zombie in the original RE.

He's injured at the beginning lol. After that you can run and sprint.

I love the way he's injured in that part, goes up the lift and he starts walking normally xD
