I don't think it's going to be 60fps, there was an article a month or two back that said the behind closed door demo seemed to be running at 30fps.

They have had plenty of time since then, to optimize the game, and sacrifice a few extra poly and texture here and there, that no one will never notice or have ever seen before. to push the fps. but i would take the safe bet on 30fps.. it's better that way

Plenty of time doesnt make your hardware better. Such a big game with so much things going on an fast driving with "solid, stable 60 FPS in crisp 1080p". This is even hard to achieve on PC for most people. I hope they unlock it above 30 FPS. Because even 35 FPS feel much better than 30 FPS and you still can have nice image quality.

I bought this game for my xbox 360 the week it came out and then returned it the next day.
I was so looking forward to playing GTA 5 because I was a big fan of the previous games. But I found this game to be terrible in almost every way. It went too far with its violence and depiction of women etc. etc. etc.
will the new content on PS4 have a good character to play which will clean up the city...? doubt it.
one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. I am just sorry I fell for the hype. not this time sorry.

Everytime I did play it on PS3 or Xbox I just thought this game was made for ps4 and that share button, I never upload to YouTube but that game has enless possibilities and they are normally hilarious, glad rockstar have gone to such efforts to update this remake gonna be amazing and about the only major game I'll be buying this Christmas, smash bros wii u and the first print of Bayonetta2! ;)

Personally I didn't play this GTA on Playstation 3 because I wanted to wait until they released it on PS4. Just like "The Last of Us" was released on PS3 first and then PS4.
I feel that whoever feels like they should upgrade for Playstation 4, should go ahead and do it. It's as simple as that. You save some money in the long term as well.

Aside from that aspect you also need to evaluate other games that are hitting the market in November. Like many of you, you might only have enough money for a couple of games. This is a huge month so Black Friday might help your dilemma. Here is the list I know of for the release of games leading upto GTA's release.

-The Walking Dead: Season 1 (PS4)
-The Walking Dead: Season 2 (PS4)
-The Evil Within
-Call of Duty: AW
-Assassins Creed Unity
-GTA V
-Dragon Age: Inquisition
-Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

With all these games leading upto the launch of GTA, it just might be worthwhile to wait for Black Friday to land three games for a cheaper price or maybe just two. Or if you have lots of money maybe select games. For me I plan to get 4 games from this list. How about you guys?

Please note it is only worth replaying on the PS4. Even if you beat it 5 times on the PS3, the game is totally different on the PS4. But even if you never played it, do not buy the Xbone version. It is 900p and looks like someone took a crap on your tv. If you play on the Xbone your house will catch in fire and the police will beat you. #1080pforever.

This game is going to be a beast on ps4! I'm not interested in better frame rate or graphical improvement, Just solid gameplay, a decent Online mode and loads of content witch GTA always brings to the table. I'm guessing since there charging full price for the game that we can expect lots of exclusive next gen goodies.
