Metal Gear Solid’s Box has been a series staple since the beginning. The box that adds a ridiculous tone to the pretty serious title has always been something that fans love.

It is, but I expect something like this to be a hidden easter egg like the usual funny parts to MGS. To premier this on a grand stage like this kind of makes for very awkward moments to other people watching. I felt weird watching it, and i'm such a fanboy for MGS any other time.

Well if a little tongue-in-cheek humor is enough to dissuade you, all I can say is sorry. MG can and is more than convoluted, but we fans appreciate it for what it is, silly, light-hearted humor (no matter how out of place) amid the more serious gameplay, story, and tone.

This was insulting. Not because of the satire humor with the cardboard box, but because he actually took the stage to show *this*. You would expect when a developer that's as big as Kojima to appear on you're stage you're either getting a cool ass trailer or a crazy announcement. Yet we got snake I'm a box doing new things...this all could of been shown at te live stream tomorrow why take the stage to show off this as if its a big deal? Seems like a complete waste of stage time

Omg this was so funny ;D, those guys haven't been with a woman for a while lol, when get so excited. Only Kojima can come up with something this genius in games.

This is really what makes games fun imo. I love that they keep bringing more of the MGS humor back, as the story will be dark anyway :). Those who complain probably haven't played MGS before or don't realize that using C-Box is totally optional.

You can play with or without it, it's open world infiltration, so find the best way you like to sneak into enemy territories.

with this footage Kojima just smashed any competition with humor , showing that when a game is super and perfectly worked can include humor moments and does nt need to show the core game to conveice that is good (excellent for me) well done Kojima
