Sometimes, merely enjoying a game for the heck of it is not enough. You tend to seek more. To satiate this desire came the achievement system on the Xbox. This was followed suit by Sony in 2008 when they introduced the trophy system for the PS3.

No it doesn't what about PS1 and PS2 games etc (that didn't have trophies), some games on there made you want to play again and again.

Same. It's funny looking at those trophies though. For one, you'd think at the very least the main mission would be 100 percent common, but it isn't. Who doesn't have time to finish ONE mission? haha

Second you can see that hardly anyone actually played the game fully. (based off how high the main mission is, then it drops off) That explains all the crying about it being too short :P

Yup. Though I really wish they did their research, since the play X games in Towerfall Trophies are glitched or at least the first one is and no one has bothered to do 20,000 games to see if the other was too.

definately the platinum for mercenary kings,I gave up 3/4 into the game I just couldn't finish it.It's pure torture!

Mercenary Kings really isn't that bad if you do it "right."

The pistol trophy can be done with someone else using a real gun to kill the bosses. Heck, you don't even need to leave the spawn to get it, you just need to hold the gun and finish the mission.
Most of the timed missions are easy, since the game is so repetitive. Like the same spots will be used multiple times for various different things.
The crafting trophy can be cheated by obtaining a bunch of materials via the 100% drop mod, making a copy of your save and making the same weapons over and over and over again. Then once you run out of cash or things to make, you can sell the weapon parts and repeat.

im one of the 2 percent that platinum killzone shadow fall and to me getting the multiplayer trophies were the more tedious trophies to do than the campaign trophies.

I'm working on the DCUO trophy, just need 2 more level 30 villans with 2 mentors and I'm done. I'll just get a subscription and i'll get the trophy once i'm ready

agreed especially when they're almost all SP and then there's a "reach max level in MP" or "kill 10,000 people in MP". A man is not falling for that you're clearly just trying to get trophy hunters to do something terribly boring and repetitive in order to keep people on your MP which probably means it can't stand on its own anyway. A man still only has 1 trophy missing in Resistance 2 because he didn't want to go for 10,000 kills when he got bored at 4,000

Yeah, I've been playing Pixeljunk Shooter PS4 recently, but there are a bunch of online trophies and the multiplayer is a chore in that game. Plus, in Japan there only seems to be one person playing it online, so you just get matched up with them. **** it!

Mercenary Kings – Craftsmanship (Never happening, too much grind)

MGS, I'll get when The Phantom Pain bundle happens... It will happen!
