PS4 vs Xbox One: Dev Hitting 1080p on PS4 At Will Due To DDR5 vs DDR3, DX12 To Help In Some Cases

PlayStation 4 is just eight month old and we have already seen some gorgeous looking truly next-gen titles such as "Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall" and many more are coming in 2015, like "The Order: 1886 and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" etc. So in this regard, what does the future hold, are we going to see better titles for PlayStation 4 in the future?

I love my ps4 to bits, but having said that I m glad Microsoft took the gloves off and really start to fight back. It will make them fight for our hard earned cash and by doing so. Delivering the best games on their respective platforms. Result, each and everyone of us will be a winner.

I personally don't want to see MS succeed. I actually feel like they should fail this gen. But that's just my opinion. I've never own a Xbox, so maybe I just find MS DRM, no used games, inferior hardware and lies less forgiving than others.

I'm still undecided at this point as to a current gen console, though I do own a Wii U, so for me the battle for my living room is still in flux. I see pros and cons for both consoles and their respective manufacturers, and thanks to a series of 180's and what seem to be genuine concern for their brand, and perhaps rightfully so, they seem to have righted the ship, and if only for the sake of $$$$ or not that doesn't change the fact that, to a certain segment, MS has certainly made a more compelling argument than in previous years. Never say never is all I'm saying, and this juvenile idea that the Xbox band is now forever tainted is premature at best.

lots people dunno the importance of RAMs ammount and speed, lots them think that with a high clock CPU or GPU is all they need, but they so freaking wrong. Well know you know why the PS4 is kicking xbone arse.

Gpu clock is 800mhz (vs 853mhz)
CPU clock is 1.6ghz (vs 1.75ghz)

But clock speed is a small part of the equation.

Correct me if I'm wrong but last I heard Sony hasn't released the actual specs of certain hardware yet still, no? So technically we don't completely know...though it wouldn't even matter as if it was confirmed to be "slower" (in those areas) the throughput overall ~ on the whole, is the real designator to the higher performance capability.

We knew this before PS4 launched last year. Better specs equals better performance. No matter what secret sauce is added to improve XB1 performance, it won't be enough to equal nor out top PS4.

It's not the GDDR 5, it's that hardware is old and their for easy to code for. Xb1 is complex. PS4 is old AMD tech. Sony's own PDF say that GDDR5 is slow 135GB/s MAX , 176GB/s not real world use. Page 13

The truth is out and reconfirms what we all already knew!!! Ouch!!! No amount of secret sauce and hidden chips will EVER change this. 900p and 792p were the biggest indicators of this. The 10% helps with the new sdks but it will never make up the power difference. PS4 is simply better and stronger.
