PlayStation 4 "System Sellers" - The PS4 Must-Have Collection

In case you missed it, our Jim Efantis made his Xbox One list of must-have genuine exclusive titles. Today, he'd like to shift gears and focus solely on the Sony PlayStation 4.

After reading the comments from the Xbox One list, Jim thought he’d go over the ground rules again. First, the game has to be exclusive. Not “console exclusive,” but really exclusive. PC ports means a game is removed from this list. Second, and most importantly, these are games that he just cannot live without. Last, the game has to be available as of the time of this writing. With that in mind…

Here is his list of MUST-HAVE CONSOLE TITLES FOR THE PLAYSTATION 4:

Article is spot on. Resogun and Second Son are easily the two best exclusives on the PS4 at the moment. I'd recommend them to any new PS4 owner. Still, my most played next-gen game Black Flag. If only every open world game had that much content.

Took me forever to platinum that sucker. Fantastic game IMO.

WTF is up with their X1 list having a future title?
HALO: THE MASTER CHIEF COLLECTION after CLEARLY stating that "the game has to be available as of the time of this writing"

Unfair list to allow title that aren't out yet on X1 and ONLY titles that have been released already on PS4.

Every game on the ps4 is a must have right now.. well maybe except knack but even still its a fun game.

LazyGoron3578d ago

Eh, basically named the two best exclusives for PS4 right now and then the only other exclusives for PS4...

Seems like an "obvious" article to me. That said... Resogun and its new DLC is extremely enjoyable.

I agree with him about Infamous, playing through the game it felt very short but once you're in the world of Seattle, it's an amazing visual experience and the abilities make it a hell of a lot of fun to traverse the environment.

I'd rather play Knack than Resogun any day

LazyGoron3578d ago

Is Knack any fun? Never played it or had interest in it... what's the draw?

Resogun is fun :( makes me sad you are missing out!

GryestOfBluSkies3578d ago (Edited 3578d ago )

i got the platinum for knack and thought it was very fun. the draw to it is that its a throwback with a lot of old school influence. its also very difficult, but fair, on the harder settings. if you like brawlers (its a brawler, not a platformer, despite what people say about it. there are platforming elements but it takes a back seat to brawling) than id pick it up, as its now probably in the $20 range.

the story isnt great, but its aimed at being a game for all ages so you shouldnt expect much of a story anyway. the graphics and the physics (when knacks pieces fall off) were top notch. it looks like you're playing an animated movie. the only thing i disliked about the game was how the treasures were completely random, so collecting parts for the different knacks took forever and was based soley on luck.

I've played Resogun a few times, but it doesn't grab me. I feel like it's just Defender with a coat of HD pizzazz. People tell me if I keep playing it, I'll get it, but I'm still waiting..

I think Knack was fun

Oh, the Knack story might not be the best, but it's better and more coherent than the story in Watch Dogs for sure.

Like there's much choice...
Currently owning only SS on ps4 (and few indies, not counting these). KZ2 was extremely mediacore, sold it. Aaaand...well, there's no more exlcusices besides knack...Only gonna get Last of us Remaster this year -.-

Yup, neither console has much in the exclusive department. Good thing 90% of all games are multiplat, right?

On the exclusive front right now, it's quality over quantity for me and the best exclusive is Infamous in my opinion.

NerdStalker3576d ago

man you sound completely stupid, like the post above said 90% of games are the same on both consoles, ms has 3 exclusives, fozra, which isin't that great, Halo which is old, Sunset Overdrive looks like a cartoon hardly anything to boast about.
