That does not mean it's a bad game - it just isn't as good as people imagined it would be.

It is an OK indie game, and could be a lot better if more content is added and the game is made to play better in reaction to feedback.

How can you dismiss a list that is open to public feedback? It's cool if you love the game -- nobody is trying to take that away from you -- but don't be naive. It's not like they're pulling this stuff out of thin air. The list is a collective effort WITH sources to all these false claims. How can you even begin to refute that? It says big update in the title but in the article it mentions it only knows one thing that it does...seems clickybaity. Unless you're using the file size as the explanation for that kinda wording, but if so...it's not a very big patch size.

The previous patch, which fixed a ton of bugs, was 30 or 60 MBs. By comparison, yes... this new patch is pretty damn big in size.

This update isn't going to erase the lies and the past month of a bland game. I certainly hope they add new content eventually but the damage has been done and it's Sean Murray's fault for lying and misleading customers. They've dumped almost 1GB of update data on my system, but most of it is just to fix the broken parts of the game; HDD real estate is becoming a big issue for me this generation, I shouldn't have to lose space because a developer releases an unfinished/half-baked product.

hehe; I have no problem with the likes of BF4 or GTAV or Uncharted dropping 50GB of game data onto my console. But this basically a huge patch of fixes - it doesn't appear to add anything; moreover it just corrects their original mistakes. It shouldn't have been necessary - I could make much better use of that space by installing a handful of indie titles.

I read up on the game, watched all the interviews and knew what I was getting. But then when I put the game in my system and started playing and found out some things promised was a lie I was pissed.

Believe me, i knew what the game was about. That's why i bought it.
And then... surprise!! What i knew wasn't there. How would you feel if you're an assassin's creed fan (for example), they show you landscapes, characters, abilities and so on, then they tell you that you can play even outside the Animus, you can fight in the real world and you have missions there too. You, as a fan, are very happy and you KNOW what's about, since you listen to the interviews, you watch videos, etc. They even tell you that there are new heaven devices that you can use and that unlock new powers. Not to mention that they promised a lot of never done before things, so you pre-order it, can't wait for it, the more you see the more you want it.
Then you buy the game and at the beginning you like it. The first hours,y the first things to do. Suddenly you discover that you keep doing the same things over and over, it's all a cop/paste, no matter what you visit or what you do and then:
1) No new heaven things/no new powers
2) Only 1 huge mission
3) You just have to climb walls and trees and gather materials to craft weapons and power ups
4) No missions at all in the real world, you can't even go there

But you watched the videos, they told you all of that was there! But then again, it's not. Are you happy of something like that?

I put a bunch of the videos in a playlist and my buddy and I played a drinking game where if he said something we didn't believe we took a shot.

That was the best multiplayer experience hello games has provided me in a long time.
