Sony's President Andrew House, in a recent interview revealed that Xbox was not the major threat to their platform at the moment. Instead PC has become PS4’s main competitor due to people wanting more power or simply wanting more options, whatever the reasons be. But is it logically sound? The answer is not in the positive, that's for sure.
TopSpin 2K25 Review - After a very long hiatus, TopSpin is back! Can Hangar 13 bring the venerable tennis series back to relevance?
Almost unbelievably, Days Gone has just turned 5 years old after launching on April 26th, 2019. What's changed in that time?
WTMG's Oliver Shellding: "I feel The Hungry Lamb is for a specific audience, though I can’t quite align with whom that might be. It’s not thrilling enough to land in constant VN recommendations, it’s got uncomfortable relationships which will put most people off, and the endings never hit the high note that satisfies everything. The twists are pretty recognizable from a distance, the voice acting is good, the character designs are alright and the pacing is decent. So many things rubbed me the wrong way and it makes it very easy to delete it from my PC concluding the review. Dive in if you must because of morbid fascination, but you’ve been cautioned: it’s a downward spiral without anything to make the trip worthwhile."
sure worked on me
I was going to upgrade this year before news of Neo came out, turns out for the best because next year the GTX 1180 should run a good number of games 4K@60FPS, and it should be good enogh for a number of years.
Of course he is! Both Sony and Microsoft are running scared. PC hardware (which is what consoles are based on) is rapidly advancing and consoles are being left behind. They are being forced to redesign the consoles every 4 years. The cost of upgrading consoles every 4 years is now equivalent to upgrading a PC with new hardware every 2 cycles.
Sony and Microsoft realize this and are silently preparing for the end of consoles by releasing many of their exclusives on PC.
I have an X1 and was considering the Scorpio and the only reason I stay on consoles is for cheaper games and physical releases (Digital downloads is highway robbery). Even the multiplayer community on PC is better, its what XBL used to be back in 2008.
I know the Sony fans on here who are trying to promote the newly announced PS4 successor (that's what it is folks like it or not) will smash the disagree button but even they realize that you can't kill progress. Technology changes and markets change according to demand and cost. Consoles are no longer a viable option for gamers since PC hardware keeps getting cheaper.
PC Gaming is simply not for everybody. It's like a high-performance race car. Sure it performs better than your family car, but it also requires lots of special handling and maintenance that not everybody has the time, interest or money for.
Not only that but there's misinformation in this article. Like he adds the PS+ cost, but dismisses the free games as "nobody likes the games they give out anyway". Sure they do. Ignore the monthly bitching which is nothing more than a fanboy war about which system got the better freebies. All you need is 3 good games a year our of more than two dozen and the service paid for itself, if you get more than that it becomes a really good deal.
Also he said a GTX 750ti will outperform a PS4. The benchmarks I've seen place the 750ti somewhere between the Xbox One and the PS4.
PS4 PRO is Sony's WiiU.
It's a half step.
Xbox Scorpio looks to be the better of the monster systems.
(don't care about consoles)
What I AM interested in is the NX. Not because of horsepower but innovation. I want to see what that is about.
