Pokemon Go Servers Down After Launch

Pokemon Go servers have taken a beating thus far since launching worldwide and currently users are not able to log on or even register to play.

Been trying for the past 20 minutes, no luck.

Been off and on all day.

Yesterday afternoon was rough, but I was good all evening. Earlier this afternoon I was able to use it for about an hour before it dropped, and has been down ever sense.

Well it's to be expected when the only other game you have made nobody wanted to play then you are given keys to the city but don't know what you are doing.

Game is great but they need to get on top of the server crashes or Nintendo needs to step in and fix things.

They should have been more prepared for this.

Doesn't this happen whenever a game gets super popular at launch?

Unfortunately they didn't give anyone a heads up about the game except that it will be out in July. They have said one thing about the servers being down but other than that, Nintendo, Pokemon Company, Nor Niantic have given any word about this game at all since launch. There are people who are getting way ahead in the game because of server issues for others.

Yeah, I can't even get the game running for two minutes without it crashing or the servers being down. At this point, it's above and beyond your typical launch issues and the fact nobody has commented on it is concerning.

I was playing all morning in DC just fine. But it started to go down on the early afternoon and had been very spotty since.
