It was great fun while it lasted, but most of my friends have moved on from D3, so going back now would feel kind of pointless.

It's really not worth coming back to, honestly. It has been streamlined to the point that it is literally nothing but a constant grind for better statted loot.

I mean sure, they have new sets every season, but it doesn't really change anything. It's just more stat stacking.

Well then have fun doing it, because 90% of the game could be taken out and no one would even notice.

Everyone does the same Butcher / Azmodan run up to 70 and then grinds through generic rift runs for hundreds of hours until they get...the same set hundreds of times to push their DPS just a little further so that they can...run the same generic rifts hundreds of times.

It is beyond redundant. Most of the loot isn't even interesting now. It's just stat boosting.

I've never understood the desire to play the same levels over and over to get better loot to play the same level again better. It's just boring and repetitive. Same problem Destiny has.

Funny you should say that, I just revisted D3UEE for PS4 this week and got the platinum and paragon lvl 10,000. My DH is an OP beast now.

I'm going to soon be starting my first play through. Got it for my girlfriends birthday on Monday but also have been dying to play it as well. $25 for ultimate evil edition on PS4. Played the demo last year on PS3 and loved it.

I've played through the main campaign once and some of the expansion. I've never really been clear on how the cycle of replaying the game works, exactly. Does it get harder each time you replay the campaign? More diverse, tactically? Anything else? What's the appeal?
